Yes, @Skippy, a beautiful goat named, of course, Billy. A family with a farm just north of the city visit their friends on our street and every year they bring one of their goats for the 200+ kids out here on halloween. I sent a pic to Walkonby, lol, of it at our front door for his picture. Of course when my .hubby saw it on the street I had to go out and beat off the kids so I could pet it and see its beautiful eyes! Hahaha!
Also yes, over 200 kids from 5pm until 7 when the street went dark. It was over.
Now….ON TO CHRISTMAS!!!

Our DD a few streets over, a cul-de-sac had only 8 kids, yet when they were young cars used to drop kids off at our corner, send the kids around our houses, back to their cars! Lol! Times change, kids grow up.

oh my gawd! If I had to choose between alcohol and chocolate, the Aero bar would win out but that's just my weakness talking. I was more than happy to post Mr. Goat for you @Lynn49 . Isn't it nuts how you had such a huge crowd of kids on your street while your DD's place had 8. Wow. There's no planning for Halloween anymore. Times HAVE changed.
I heard somewhere in the USA parents parked their vehicles in a lot and opened up their trunks, then kids could just walk from trunk to trunk trick or treating!!
At first I though " oh smart! " , but then it hit me that the kids are getting NO exercise at all. There's already an obesity issue for young people, this cannot help that at all.
