Yesterday felt like a long day was out with my DD doing last minute shopping it took us 4 hours for her to get all her stuff.
Today I will put my feet up and watch Netflix Prime . Have a great day all
Happy Saturday all. Believe it or not I am re-watching the Star Wars Trilogy ( the ones with Adam Driver in them ) because when I first saw them we were probably at the theatre with the kids ( were they teens? , adults ? who remembers ?? ) :icon_scratch:
Back then I was famous for falling asleep for parts of them all. Anyways, I knocked the first one out last night and am half way through the 2nd one now. Ya know what?

o.k. I'm first this morning. I had promised myself NOT to come on here and gush about The Leaf's.....but how can I let a 7-0 win go? Especially with Ex-Leaf's GM Kyle Dubas returning to the building with his Penguins! For sure he was hoping for a strong performance from his guys, but even without Matthews in our line up we removed Kyle's Smile! I'm a huge Domi fan as well so to see him get 2 assists and a goal was awesome!

good morning! A funny thing happened on the way to pick up Swiss Chalet last night. DH said it was SO worth it for what he witnessed on a side road.
We have these concrete barrier dividers ( that school kids have painted beautifully?? ) that separate the vehicle lanes from the bike lanes.
In this stock photo is an example of a motorist who clearly has no idea he is in the wrong lane....BUT what DH saw last night was even better!

He still can't figure out how the guy did it BUT his vehicle was perched perfectly centered on the concrete barrier, so none of the 4 wheels were touching the block, OR the ground! The guy was in his car on the phone and appeared to be crying! I know it seems cruel to chuckle at another's misfortune. Was it the darkness and the rain that confused this poor driver? OR....was he speeding and on his phone?
Either way it served as a moment of entertainment, no injuries except to his vehicle and ego maybe?

Good scary morning…our Jenny woke up shivering this morning which we hoped wasn’t a prelude to her terrifying seizures. Since she’s been on her meds she’s been free of them, but who knows what can happen. Thank goodness she’s fine, went outside then had her med when she came in; she gets a pill morning and evening. So! I’m up! Sent hubby back to bed, I’ll nap later because once I’m up, I’m up.
After our flurries yesterday I thought we’d wake up to snow, but everything melted! No snow in our yard, so happy!! A green CHRISTMAS!!
Everything’s done, just anxiously waiting for the big day, can’t wait for the kids to open their presents!!!
@GoJays , I loved watching the Lawrence Welk show! Primarily for the fashions…those dresses were amazing! Hahaha!
Dinner at our friends’ home later, so yes…a nap is in order!
