What a disappointing performance by the Toronto Maple Leafs team. I couldn’t even watch the last 10 min of the game . But the 2 die hard fans in my house had to watch it a have some choice words for some of the Top players

Happy Friday . Hoping that the Toronto Maple Leafs come out tonight to play . We need the big guys to score .

Good afternoon all. What a crazy week this has been. The weather forecast was rain all week but we've had glorious days filled with sun for the most part.
A mishap at WM Thursday afternoon saw us shell out $1500.00 + for 4 new tires and an A/C repair on the vehicle. The exposed metal plate that DH drove
over punctured the passenger front tire and the air was spewing out so fast. We just made it to our dealership which was minutes away, no damage to the
rim which was a miracle. What a chewed up mangled mess that tire was though. The tires were going to be replaced in the Fall anyways so we did all 4 now.
While there I inquired about our A/C, which blows hot air in half the vents. Bit that bullet and got it all refilled ( or whatever they do?) because the side where
the hot air comes from is where I sit! lol

Today is much better, waiting on company to arrive and we'll probably hug too hard, laugh too loud and cry when we have to say goodbye! Been too long since we've seen each other.

@walkonby hope you were watching the Maple Leafs game . The big boys show up. Lots of swearing and yelling in my house for some of the calls that was made by the Ref . But we got life

yep, @flemeth when they scored goal #3 I turned the tv off. I just woke up to hear the final score. There was so much hope, so much anticipation....a real " what if ? " possibility.
Now who is there to root for? The Oilers I suppose.

yep, @flemeth when they scored goal #3 I turned the tv off. I just woke up to hear the final score. There was so much hope, so much anticipation....a real " what if ? " possibility.

I woke up feeling a combo of deflated and lost, almost without a purpose. Then I shook myself into reality and remembered that we had a pretty glorious
week weather wise during DH's vacation week off. There is an abundance of newly planted perennial's, annuals, some hanging baskets, the half barrel planters
are overflowing with colourful flowers, which is enough to lift anyone's spirits.
A four day work week for the guys and they have an ample serving of Shepard's Pie as a work meal ( made on Sunday morning ) .
So GO OILERS GO!!

I had to venture out in the rain to pick up my cats meds, sadly my best umbrella was turned inside out from the wind. Nothing funnier than that.....when it happens to someone else! I was unamused. Topped off the gas tank and came right back home. Declined a trip to GT, NF and FB because tbh, we really do NOT need food in this house. We'll " get by " with the stuff we have. Enjoy the weather everyone, I'm thinking of a particular crossing guard who braves these elements every day with a smile!
