It's delicious. Stay away if you only drink dry wines though.

Any news story can spur a giggle from me after watching the many many hours of the GOP grilling FBI agent Peter Strozk yesterday.
What a circus! Oh never mind what the official IG investigation report said about the " texts between lovers " , because the GOP were only salivating over the outcome of that report when they thought it would be the key to ending the Muellers' Special council investigation.
( ha ha too bad , so sad. )
the report gave them nothing to chew on so they they battered Peter with repetitive questions and almost never let him answer any question fully.
At one point they wanted to charge him with contempt for not answering some ( btw he couldn't as it pertained to open investigations and may reveal confidential sources ) but......then a quick thinking Democrat brought a motion forward saying that Steve Bannon should also be charged with contempt and brought back in to answer the questions he refused to answer.
I loved that part.
o.k. so nothing much on the schedule today except to fill up the gas tank....fuel dropped by 4 cents a litre last night!! woo hoo!

Hello folks! Went shopping this morning and bought BrotherR an air conditioner. BrotherB says they will go halvers to pay for it.. The one that I could find that will really work for him I got by fluke at Best Buy as they were listing none available here. Over $500. Glad mine is central air.
Found the size of knitting needles that I have been looking for.
Having a rest as I stayed out too long without eating.
Called Bell about the WIFI and they reset it through the router. It seems to be alright but for some reason, the screen is only showing the left half of the post. I fiddled with it for a while but I was getting dizzy.
Going to see younger nephew's championship baseball game tomorrow. Other nephew is coming home for a few days after being counselor at camp. It will be good to see him!
Got my hair cut this afternoon. Just the "regular old" cut this time. Nothing fancy. Tried to find some new tops but everything is polyester or rayon. I sweat to death in anything but mostly cotton.
Got a very cute "Canadian" themed night shirt at Giant Tiger for $7. They have quite a few really cute night shirts and short pj's on sale. It's "Black Friday" sales (Friday the 13th.) I read that there is a full moon and an eclips but didn't that happen LAST year?
Well, might just catch a few winks before supper.

Well, tmi, I am so tired out and legs/back hurting because the diruretic worked way too well today. It was unbelievable the amount of trips I had to make to the can, and so many so close together! Same pill, same dose every day...
I couldn't even nap because of it.
The home care doc called this morning to check on me, talk about going above and beyond, I was impressed.
Just waiting for supper to cook, I do the prep, husband mans the stove.
Nurse comes tomorrow, that's about the only thing planned for the weekend.

Great news from the nurse visit, my heart rate is low 80s, much better than the last time taken at just above 40. Other vitals are good.
Milan came over in the aft to mow the lawn, then we got supper and had a great visit.
Overnight it got quite cold in the house, and still is now. Probably warmer outside.

im cleaning my closet out...cant believe how many "impulse" pieces i have/had...i tried them all on & i look horrible in them, so back to value village they go. i really need more self control. :sad-new:
hubby is getting over a bad flu-like cough, i dont know how he got through work all week. the heat is also kicking my ass, having migraines & vertigo...i really hate the intense heat.
