Even thoughI was not expecting the Toronto Maple leafs was not going to make the playoffs . I am still disappointed that it’s official. I feel bad for all my fellow leafs fans especially my DH

no posting in here since the Leaf's broke our hearts this season. I'm so uninterested in following any other team to the Cup.
If any, maybe the Oilers? Enjoy Sunday....we've been watching the Blue Jays games with heart palpitations over the freaky
number of early injuries! ( Saturday Springer left in the 3rd with a fractured TOE!! )
However, Friday's game had a lovely moment when Kirks' replacement for back catcher ( Brandon Valenzuela ) hit his first
major league HR. Not only that BUT he smacked it at 111.4 mph, making it the hardest-hit home run by a Blue Jays catcher.
There are silver linings with this team.

Good morning everyone . Even though my house is die had leaf’s fans . The are hoping a Canadian team get in the finals and the team the choose to cheer is the Montreal Canadians .What a game it was last night. Wish the Toronto Maple Leafs would played like these 2 teams played fighting for a win and not giving up.

I watched so much sports last night!! So much fun, Blue Jays dominated winning game 2 vs the Minnesota Twins, Raptors forced a Game 7
with their OT win and the Vegas Golden Knights eliminated the Utah team. I want the VGK to take the Cup only because Marner is there.
We've never had love for the Habs, sorry, I was relieved they lost. I did ache for McDavid though, always a Bridesmaid.
Jays won spectacularly again today! 11-4 BUT Springer got HBP again! In the bloody foot AGAIN!

@walkonby we are also cheering the Vegas Golden knights and it’s all because of Marner . I would love for Vegas to win the Stanley Cup but my DD wants the cup in Canada. She is cheering for Buffalo also.

lol! My eldest sis is quite disappointed in our shunning of the Habs as she wants the Cup in Canada, but old rivalries are a delicious thing to cling to.
Gives DH and I something to bond over in a silly way. ( a t-shirt of his reads " My favourite Teams are The Toronto Maple Leaf's and whoever beats Montreal " )
We don't actually hate the Montreal Canadiens, more like we can't stand their talent! ha ha
I accomplished lots of small tasks very early today, so feeling proud and relaxed now. Happy Sunday All!!

@walkonby my nephew who was born in Montreal is a die had Montreal Canadian fan. For my DH 50th Birthday he bought him a T- shirt , a Jacket and a cap which all said Montreal Canadian as a Joke also he got him a Leafs Jacket . He is trying his best to turn him but my DH is still the biggest Toronto Maple Leafs fan . My DH live in Montreal for over 10 yrs but then moved to Toronto. Live longer in Toronto .

woke up to the trifecta of losses! Blue Jays lost, Tampa Bay lose Game 7 and Raptors lose game 7. Ouch!!

My nephew call us after the Montreal Canadian game to rub it in how the are a better team than the Toronto Maple Leafs . Guess we would not hear the end of it because we will be seeing him on Saturday.

yeah, those losses were tough to swallow, more so for the Raptors as I wanted their glory restored. The Habs win was only a minor upset, i still want the Vegas Knights to win it all....ha ha The Blue Jays season is only really in the beginning stages so still lots to look forward to. As far as spending time with your nephew on the weekend just stay classy even if he doesn't.
