Btw, do you ever move the Peloton bike outside to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air at the same time?
I row and cycle indoors to IFIT Programs but walk/hike outside. I subscribe to IFIT (similar to Peleton but more outdoor scenery stuff) so after outdoor walks we watch a walking episode with the trainer on google TV for tips and scenery. This month, the walks have been along the waters edge in Italy ..along trails we would never even know existed. I love doing yoga and stretches to beach scenery as well.

So did a 5km walk with Dh in the fabulous sunshine. Tonight will be a 15-20 min ride with stretching. My upper body is a tiny bit sore after yesterday’s weight workout :O. Sore but still feels good.

Yesterday was a short but very hard ride. I really didn’t have much time so I chose a 10 minute climb ride and maxed my heart rate with the heaviest resistance I have ever done (55) and did 4.5km in that 10 min ride which was like riding up hill the whole time. Super proud and probably going to to the same ride today and strive to get my PB on it. That plus the 5km walk Dh and I took earlier in the day.

Sun seems to have disappeared but we are still headed outside for some fresh air.

    Have a fantastic day everyone

We went into the city for a lunch/ dinner. Hit up the peloton store to check out the clip shoes and ordered them . So excited for them to arrive. To avoid rush hour traffic we hung out and walked by the water. Did my climb ride and made my PB on it! I love how fast the improvements are in my workouts in such a short time. Granted I workout daily but not always riding.

Heres a couple of pics of my beautiful view today.

Yesterday’s workout consisted of 2 core classes (it’s a 4 week program with 4-5 days a week to take a class each day but I took 2 at first). Now I know why I avoided my core lol it’s beyond tough. Then I did my 20 min upper body workout and upgraded my weights

I plan on doing today’s core class and most likely full body stretching since it’s been a rough day at work and the rest of the week is going to be just as hard.

Any noticeable effects from the massive lay-offs at Peloton?

Just wanting for my dinner to settle before hitting the bike. I do have a core class to do but thankfully it’s only 10 mins so not too bad. Who am I kidding? It’s still HARD but I feel I’m improving.

Well I'm certainly motivated to get working out more. Summer is coming and I won't be able to hide under long coats anymore.
Tomorrow I'm doing something fun, I'm participating in a 1 mile "Cupid's run" virtually. Instead of walking/running on a treadmill though, I'm streaming it and I'm going to row along with it (1 mile is just over 1600 meters so no biggy).

    Have a great weekend!

Yesterday I did a short 2.5 km walk in the sun with the parents. So nice to get some vit D.

Took a bit of a rest day and focused on my meditation , I really just needed to take some quiet time and relax my body. I’d been deep spring cleaning from 7am and didn’t sit until 5:44pm so that was my exercise plus Dh had a rougher reaction to his booster so he went from the shower to bed. Poor guy . He’s back to normal today so that’s great.

Hopefully another walk (albeit much longer) in the sun and then back on the bike and hitting the weights today since my arm is fine now.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Sunday

Last night’s workout consisted of a 5 min core class ( felt like 5 hours lol), 20 minute weights, 20min POP ride (9km) which meant the intensity was higher, the recovery between rises was super short (only 15 seconds befor you had to rise again!), a 10 minute stretch and the meditation to sleep.

We ran a what felt like a zillion errands this morning so now I’m getting lunch (2pm) and after that has settled we will hit the bike and the mat. Not sure what I feel like riding today. Maybe a scenic ride through Hawaii???
