Yes....I will admit I'm a Twilight fan.....much more so of the books then the movies....I have the box set of the books and decided I would like to get all the movies as well....despite how bad I think I they are, lol. Anyway....I recently received a $10 Chapters GC for a survey I did so I went to the website to see what I could get. Turns out another SC'er recently posted a promo code for $5 off any order.....and the website currently has free shipping on orders $25 and over. AND....both the Twilight: New Moon and Twilight:Eclipse were 65% off!
So....after using my GC and all the appropriate deductions, I was able to order both DVDs for a total of $13.62!! Not one of the best brags out there but I was definitely happy with it

lol i like the movies better than the books,
IMHO stephanie meyer is a horrible writer LOL
I bought the book set after reading the first one, which i did so after seeing the movie.
The worst book is definitely breaking dawn.
But I like the storyline which is why I continue to see the movies

Haven't read the books but I have seen all the movies, I am not sure about them. Definately has eye candy in the movies which is the biggest plus.

Hahaha......glad to see some fellow Twilighters......whether from the books or movies!
c_mcarthur - I'm definitely not saying that I think Stephanie Meyer is a great author, by any stretch, lol.....but I definitely enjoyed the books over the movies. I guess my expectations of the writing style weren't too high....since it's supposed to be from the perspective of a 17 year old. I liked that it was a "young" easy read.....something I could get engrossed in without having to think much about it. To each their own tho!
Everyone has different opinions on what they like and don't. I for one spend WAY too much of my time with my head stuffed in books....and sometimes I feel like a little Jane Eyre......and sometimes I feel like a highschool romance! lol

I had no desire to watch to read....but then I was bored and watched the first one (and even though I thought it wasn't a great movie there was something about it that made me want to watch it again), my cousin told me to read the books (I am not a big reader) and I read the first book and 1/2 of the second in a day. I like that they are easy to read and I can read them quick.
I have read the books a few times and have bought all the movies too as well as seen the last 3 in the theatre - saw Breaking Dawn 2x (only because DH took me and I had already arranged a girls night prior to that).Collecting Campbell's soup labels for our school RAKs greatly appreciated.
Using WagJag for great deals!

i'll admit i enjoyed the books, and i agree the last one was horrible.. i've even told people don't bother reading the last one! (it reads like fanfiction.. and bad fanfiction at that!).. i do enjoy the movies.. the first one the least.. the first one was.. well.. bad... the movies are cheesy! they are horribly highly cheesy! and at some points hard not to laugh at.. but saying that.. i do enjoy them, i did see the newest in the theatre..
yes i'll admit that the series sets a bad example-girl willing to give up her life for a high school boy who regularly sneaks into her window, girl sacrificing herself for said boy "if you don't love me i'd rather be dead" and would suggest another series or two for a girl to read (highly suggest vampire academy, and even the hunger games-both strong young female characters)When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

I love that I am not the only hard Twilight fan... guess who I met???
I love Dr. Cullen he is my favorite after Edward, I am totally team Edward and I do not care how good looking Jacob is
.... Yes, he is hot, sure.. but all of you traders you all loved Edward in the first one than as soon as Jacob cut his hair and got few abs, you all traded ahahah
of course a little joking around
.... but true to my Edward I stay
And here is me with Dr.Cullen, it was taken before I shed pounds so its still worth showing
I think!

I love the Twilight books too and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I also love the movies. I didn't have high expectations for either so was pleasantly surprised. I actually like her sci-fi (supposedly) adult novel, "The Host" better than Twilight. But I could be biased because the main character is named Melanie and so am I. LOL.
