Thread: I have a Christma Elf!!!

I had to brag. I haven't been shopping much at all and deals have been minimal but I had the most wonderful surprise!
Quick background: I went back to college this fall, and I have 3 teens. Anyways my house has been less than tidy for some time now. The kids said they wanted to put up some Christmas decorations and I said wait till the weekend and maybe I could get it tidied up a bit (not likely, I have too much due! but I am eternally hopeful,). Anyways fell in bed last night exhausted, the house as messy as ever.

I woke up at 5 am ( I get up that early to catch the commuter train into the city). The house was CLEAN!!!!!!!! Dishes done, dusting done, everything put away!!!!! CLEAN!
There by my travel mug was a couple of cookies and a note.
Surprise! From the Christmas elf.
PS sorry about serving you your own cookies, but I had none of my own to give.
PPS Have a great day.
PPPS Christmas elf thinks we should get a christmas tree this weekend.
I don't know which child did this, because they printed it out on the printer.
I left a note saying.
Mom loves the Christmas Elf!!!
Gosh. I sooooooo needed this.
Here is to hoping everyone gets their own Christmas elf. This thread is currently associated with: N/ALooking for: Yogurt (FPCs)

I've always told my DH that one of the best gifts he could ever give me is a clean house. Never mind the flowers, etc., just clean my house. lol
