We have all made mistakes! But we have to acknowledge the mistake instead of thinking that everyone is out to get the one with the best brag... it's not the best brag if it was achieve by misusing coupons. It's a simple "OMG I'm sorry I missed that - thank you for bringing it to my attention... that's all."

Please let me be a bit clearer. This is NOT a thread to debate or vent. SC will not be making any new rules or policies for couponing - the companies and retail law have done that themselves, it's evident in the fine print on coupons and in store policies. Consumers need to follow it. This thread is SC making it clear that we do not abide by illegal activity.

Let's please move on and keep SC what it is meant to be - a fun place to share deals we can all obtain if we chose to.

So I read the whole thread (ugh) and I think maybe you misunderstood the rope comment; a user posted that as a response about what cheap things to buy just to use the scratch card, she suggested buying a piece of rope; in no way shape or form does that equal telling someone to go hang themselves. Of course, there could have been a post that was removed, but I don't see any post that is that rude.

I hope someone would point out if I misused a coupon, I always try to clearly read them and ensure I'm using them correctly, there are level 2000 insert coupons now and I can't tell what the expiry is so I just decided to just recycle them cause I don't want to risk misuse.

I did not say you should get a job instead of being here...I said that it seemed like so much work, effort and time in using up all the cards it may be EASIER to get a job. That's what I meant. If you took it any other way it was your interpretation. We all decide how to spend our time, to each their own. I personally don't see the value of spending all that time shopping for free stuff, but again, that is my opinion and just responding to the opinion of another person on the board in response to YOUR brag. It is still a free country last time I checked.

Exactly, that's what I said! But I was responding to another poster's post on what she chose to share on a public forum, not her original post. That's hilarious! Yeah, I wonder how much time some people have on their hands. Wouldn't it just be easier to get a job?

So if I bragged about my shopping in the bragging section, I should be relatively safe from being flamed because there is no negativity or sarcastic remarks allowed. But since I did it in the Deals & Flyers section, it's open season? I'll remember not to post there anymore.
