i hate mine. i didnt use a mir and its sitting under my sink. first off, it spits out soap at like 4-5 times a shot (when its actually working). sometimes you dont even have to be near the sink for it to do this. ive changed batteries and de-clogged the soap eye and the red light is still flashing at me. hate it. while i agree that its nice to have one in the kitchen to use after just handling meat, this unit is not it. if you do have a MIR for it and are thinking about it, save your stamp.

Grace's Mommy, you should call the company and complain, I'm sure they'll do something about it.
I love mine! I'm going to get one for the kitchen too, because my soap dispenser is always disgusting it seems. I've been refilling it since I got it which is great because my grand-daughter thinks it's great fun to wash her hands now. She wouldn't wash her hands before, but now she will, no problem. Yes, I sometimes have to clean up blobs of soap, but I did before as well. It does put out a little too much soap, but since I know how to refill it, that's not a problem.Last edited by GinaMWright; Sun, Nov 20th, 2011 at 04:00 PM.

the concept is cool but doesn't work well as a hand soap dispenser. it dispenses way too much. i had it for a week and the soap is 1/3 gone. it would be better as a dish soap dispenser.

The first one I bought was a piece of crap, going off randomly and then not working at all. However, I have bought three more since then and I LOVE them
I'm using one for a hand lotion dispenser and it works great!

I picked up a handful of these this weekend. Holiday ones were $9 - $5 coupons. I am absolutely loving it so far! No problems whatsoever yet. Vanilla scent.. my fave.

i love mine. i use it in the kitchen it's great for when you have been cooking and you don' t want to touch the soap pump with your dirty hands. the refills aren't too expensive- similar in price to bath and bodyworks. i'm hoping to find them on sale.

The current Zellers flyer shows the soap refills for $4.49.
The current Cdn. Tire flyer shows a photo of a Lysol soap refill under the 20% off Lysol household cleaners (page 14?).
Usual retail price for the soap refills here in Ontario has been $4.99.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

as much as i really liked and enjoyed ours.. I actually found a new type at SDM its an Emerson.. black sleek unit with a 'lid' on the top you open and pour in your soap.. then the sensor underneath detects your hand movements and voila.. soap.. its soo sleek and nice. we love it. sorry Lysol.

I just tossed ours...spitting soap when no one was around, squirting several times in our hands...
BUT I did want to say that I hope you're not actually BUYING refills, but using your own soaps in them!

Lysol Healthy Touch kit deals tomorrow-
$6.99 at Sobeys or $6.97 at Walmart (ON).
Feb. 3 update-the refills are $4.48 at Walmart. Vanilla & brown sugar, grapefruit, cucumber melon and aloe scents were seen. I don't recall seeing the original scent refill on the shelves.Last edited by Ciel; Fri, Feb 3rd, 2012 at 11:13 PM.

Shoppers Drug Mart (ON) has the no-touch unit for $7.99 and refills for $4.99 in the current flyer. Hope that helps any SCer in need of one or the other.

I have three and two of them squirt soap all over the counter when I get within three feet of them. The third one is fine. I wrote to the company last week and I will let you know what they have to say...
