I may have to give it a try now. Has anyone used it and price matched? Is it a pain? This thread is currently associated with: Walmart

I have not used the service. I have seen reports about any WM grocery item that is weighed to be priced-your credit card is dinged higher than order value until the meat/produce weight is finalized then something about a discount is applied to your order.
Not sure how much fun price matching for online order would be-seems to defeat the convenience aspect of buying quickly online.

I have used it and often been charged less than originally stated as they are weighed packs unless of course you order the $5 & $10 packs.
This is great news now the $10 codes will actually be $10 off not $7

Are you sure they are charging your credit card before they weigh everything or just doing a pre-authorization. A pre auth isn't an actual charge. However it does hold the money for them until they complete the order to actually make sure there is enough on your card until the order is finalized.

Minimum order of $50 is required for free pickup. FAQs indicate Ad Match is possible with online flyers. https://www.walmart.ca/en/grocery/N-117

I use it all the time with price matching! I love it because I'll do a $50 order, then use a $10 or $20 code and then price match! So the total comes way below the $50 threshold.
Price matching is super easy, and honestly, I feel it's easier than doing it in store.
Now, if they'd just accept coupons, then I'd totally be in love!Want to learn how to coupon? Check out this ultimate guide to couponing in Canada!

Buying fresh food groceries online and picking them up does not appeal to me......I truly doubt the staff picking out the fruits, meat, and vegetables care what they pick up. I am very particular looking for the freshest and best looking food items every time I shop.

Thank you! Can't beat 20% off groceries!
EDIT - It says offer expired for this code, darn. I tried a bunch of others I found online and they don't seem to work either.
The FAQ on the website says there is a form to fill out after the order is placed, and you need to provide a link to the flyers. I am going to try it this week, will see how it goes.Last edited by mollyh; Wed, Aug 2nd, 2017 at 10:28 PM.

Just be careful what you are buying if you do use their service. I have been to WM's in the US at night like 2 am and there are carts lined up at the front with meat and veggies that should have been left in coolers but were not. It is a lot of work for the workers to fill all of the orders when they are busy enough already!
I would not order anything that needed chilled!Coin Out:
