This will be my last brag of this sequence of 10 weeks. Total of the week is 75.59$, so only 0.59$ over my 75$ max goal. My average after 10 weeks is 75,65$.
This week I calculated the total regular price for the past 9 weeks and compare this with my out of pocket. In the past 9 weeks, I have paid 32% of the regular price. This is not to bad.
After christmas I will need to go at Sami fruit to get more fresh fruits and veggies at very good price and with a good quality. I was disappointed this week with some apple and clementine I bough at Provigo and IGA. And I was unable to buy alot of veggies in the regular store (because of the price and the quality was not there). By chance I have my sprout and alot of home canned soup!
Also for people in QC, we will have the health and wellness challenge 5/30 (Défi santé 5/30) inscription starting in january 05, 2012. This is in collaboration with IGA. Here is some coupons we get last year with that promo: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/2877569-post133.html. (all kit was not having the same FPC). Challenge website is here: http://www.defisante530equilibre.ca/...ge-Support-Kit, bookmark this for your new year resolution!!!

I could have sequence like this because I have alot of home canned stuff at home (from summer/fall season).
And not shown on that sequence, but 2 weeks before starting this in october I have done my Mayrand shopping trip (around 90$). And get 6 pounds of fresh yeast for 8.37$ (I put it in the freezer, no problem) to do my bread, 10 kg of dry chick peas (17$, I'm able to do around 90 jars of 500ml with this), 10kg of dry red kidney beans (17$, I'm able to do around 90 jars of 500ml with this), 5kg of green lentil (9$, I'm able to do around 30 jars of 500ml with this), 1kg of chocolate pistole cacao Barry 75% and some other stuff that I can remember right now. Probably fresh fruits and veggies, if I remember correctly pineapple was 1.25$ that week at Mayrand and I grab some.
With that sequence I realize something important for my saving and my family habit. We use alot of milk, milk have a minimum price by law in QC that I can change or go lower. Of course I take avantage of Pharmaprix/SDM to buy my milk and rack pts... but I still can't redeem my points to buy milk. Me and all the member of my family really love cheese also and there is no minimum price for cheese and I can redeem for that at Pharmaprix/SDM, same for yogurt (but I prefered my homemade yogurt!)... How to lower my weekly average oop in regards of our dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt) habit? Switch for a beverage that we also love alot in my family: soy milk! No minimum price by law for that in QC, increase variety in stuff we eat, good for health, could be redeem at Pharmaprix/SDM without problem, alot of coupon available for that kind of product. This is a win, win, win!!!Liberty of one finish where liberty of the other one start

You did a great job on your savings, and i've enjoyed your grocery brags so much! Thanks for sharing and look forward to reading more brags in the future. I haven't done any brags for awhile but we've been living off our stockpile, lots of stuff in my freezer and such. I've only been buying a milk and some produce not much to share but will probably start again in the New Year. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!
