PC Optimum - SDM and PC Unite Feb.1 2018!!!!

Finally, I bought a $25 SDM gift card, and got base PCO points. So that hasn't changed

So frustrating, try to create an account, says that email is already in use. So I try to log in with my pcplus info, it says I need to create an account because I'm using my old info. -.- Anyone else have this issue?

Also tried to use the "forgot my password" thing but I never got the email.

ok - here's what I've learned.
traded optimum card for pc optimum card. no problem. linked that pc optimum card to my pc optimum app. all points from pc plus and optimum are showing up now, EXCEPT any points I transferred to that card yesterday.

@nalaric, did they do anything in particular to your new pcopt card in store so that it would link to the optimum card you gave up... or did your optimum points show up because you added a pcopt card to your account?

Just wondering, I'm reluctant to give up my sdm card without proof of having my sdm points first. Right now the sdm card won't link to the online created account.

Was at RCSS about an hour ago and one of the cashier mention to me the system is down because there was a glitch and people were getting lots of points for nothing . I was unable to swap my card

@nalaric, did they do anything in particular to your new pcopt card in store so that it would link to the optimum card you gave up... or did your optimum points show up because you added a pcopt card to your account?

They scanned my optimum card (that # shows up on my receipt with *** replacing middle 3 numbers) and then they scanned a PCO card (that # shows up underneath, with * also replacing some numbers) then it says current points balance underneath that.

So, if I got this right. I can go to SDM with my SDM card and they will give me an PCO. I can then link to the PCO that I have already set up online with my PC Financial card?

Yup - that's exactly what I did. Easy peasy. now my app shows I have 2 PCO cards. The card that I got when I replaced my optimum, and the virtual card that I got when I linked my PC financial. Also have a linked PC financial card, a connected device (my phone) and 2 linked accounts (PC Plus and Optimum) - so it's says I have '6 cards' total

playing around with it a little in the app... I can rename cards or assign to household members (haven't set up a household yet. I've just linked all my stuff to my PCO account.)

Angela - I had the same problem. You need to delete the PC Plus app then go in to the app store and get the PC Optimum app and you should be able to now download it.

I was hesitant to deleted the old app, but I guess I’ll give it a try. Thanks.

the cashiers in the store look stressed
they deactivated my old card and activated my new card, but I still have to go online
customer service desk --> also look stressed out

I was able to download the app and transfer my PC Plus points. I tried to link my optimum card, use the number from my physical card and keep getting an error. “Our appologies, an unknown error has occurred.”
