Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to marry on 19 May 2018
The pair confirmed their engagement in November and said the service would be at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The date breaks with tradition as royal weddings usually take place on a weekday - the Queen wed on a Thursday and the Duke of Cambridge on a Friday.
The wedding will be on the same day as the FA Cup Final, which Prince William normally attends as FA president.

At least the bride-to-be is used to media attention, given her acting work, so she's got part of her new life figured out. Just protocol mostly left to learn. She seems well-paired with Prince Harry, who is quite the extrovert.

Harry and Meghan letter 'race hate crime'
A letter containing a substance sent to St James's Palace is being treated as a "racist hate crime", police said.
The Met Police tested the substance and said it was not harmful. No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.
The Evening Standard reports the letter was addressed to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
It was received on February 12, the day before a package containing white powder was sent to Westminster.
It is alleged the substance sent to St James's Palace was also white powder. Officers are looking into whether or not the two packages are linked.
A spokesman said: "It is being treated as a racist hate crime. The matter is being investigated by officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command."
Prince Harry condemned the "the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls" Ms Markle was subject to when they made their relationship public in 2016.

'Essentially, the monarchy is corrupt’ – will republicanism survive Harry and Meghan?
On a scorchingly hot Saturday lunchtime in Leeds, the varied strands of the British left have gathered outside the city’s art gallery for their annual May Day parade. They are all here: the Labour party, the Communist party, the Socialist party, a smattering of trade unions, the Alliance for Workers’ Liberty and a handful of vegans chalking slogans on the paving stones. Meanwhile, under a green gazebo adorned with the tagline “End the Reign”, activists from a radical organisation that resists any left/right stereotyping are setting up their stall and hoping for a decent couple of hours’ business.
On a trestle table, they have arranged a handful of laminated blowups of newspaper articles, mostly from the Guardian, about Prince Harry being interviewed by police about the killing of rare birds, the Queen’s Ł82m income and the “black spider letters” – named after Prince Charles’s eccentric handwriting – that revealed the future king’s efforts to influence some of the policies of the last Labour government. The basic point all this bumf is intended to illustrate is presented in a four-page A5 leaflet. “Monarchy must go,” it says, explaining why having a hereditary head of state “goes against every democratic principle”, as well as claiming that looking after the royals costs the public purse Ł334m a year.
The Yorkshire branch of Republic – the pressure group dedicated to “campaigning for a democratic alternative to the monarchy” – has been in existence since 2012. Its prime movers reckon they have a database of “a few hundred” supporters across the region, but the group’s once-a-month campaigning work tends to be carried out by a handful of committed activists. Today, there are four: Shaun Iggleden, 52; Nigel Catling, 59; Ian Cox, 64; and 41-year-old Mark Baxter.

I hadn't really planned to be up to watch it live, but it just turned out that I woke up because of pain.
Watched the half hour before the ceremony, then just to the end of the ceremony - I will have to find somewhere to watch the ending - when they left the church, etc.
I thought the ceremony was lovely - touching, and had their own touches on it. I mean, who expected "Stand By Me", let alone that sermon from the Bishop?
Harry looked so handsome, and Meghan was gorgeous. That gown was elegant in its simplicity. Wowsers, that tiara!

Ms. Meghan Markle’s wedding dress has been designed by the acclaimed British designer, Clare Waight Keller. Ms. Waight Keller last year became the first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy.
Ms. Markle expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony. Ms. Waight Keller designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition.
Meghan added a couple personal touches as well: she had the Wintersweet (Chimonanthus praecox), which grows in the grounds of Kensington Palace in front of Nottingham Cottage, and the California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) the State flower of California, added as well.
The veil is held in place by Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, lent to Ms. Markle by The Queen. The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932, with the entire brooch dating from 1893.
The bandeau, which is made of diamonds and platinum, is formed as a flexible band of 11 sections, pierced with interlaced ovals and pavé set with large and small brilliant diamonds. The center is set with a detachable brooch of 10 brilliant diamonds.

I recorded the entire event and then just FF through the stuff I have no interest in ( like which famous people attended and what kind of silly hat they wore??)
I agree the ceremony was lovely, the vows, the ring exchange, the kiss. Her dress was beautifully simple.
My only real complaint ( as if any of the Royals would care...lol ) was why was Meghan's hair not securely pulled back a bit more?
I found it distracting to see wisps coming down her cheek and she then she had to try and tuck it back behind her ear.
Oh those kids though!! Each of them as cute as can be and very well behaved. That cannot be easy getting them to behave can it?
All in all such beautiful weather the couple had for their special day.
