70 years so no more dues

fun thing, my dad now does not have to pay dues to the toronto musicians association
as he is now in the already paid for 70 years group - yikes eh!
god darn alzheimer's doesn't let him appreciate it much, or for long.

silly association included this group of 6 into the regular meeting, so happened
friday morning 1030 am in downtown toronto.
dad and the very significant other (who may have stolen where i used to live)
had to travel from unionville to there, yikes.
guessing the others didn't live around the corner either.
and i understand no sandwiches or cakes, huh?

posting this as a yikes thingy, as in just for fun

ps, dad was named the best organist in the nhl by don cherry
back when --- he played songs

What a great legacy - to have been an accomplished musician. Glad he was able to be there to be recognized. (Pretty cheap not to have at least a cup of tea, etc. for the attendees.) I guess the musician's union has to be as frugal as dedicated but underpaid musicians.
