Cool! Was wondering if I should spend what I have in points (did a spend in Dec 2017 for 95000 points ... so just have just over 50000 now ... will likely do this when I get the details) Thanks!

Wow they really want to get rid of those points don't they.
We've been begging for this kind of redemption all year

I have 5x95,000 and almost 1x50,000 redemption.
I will be saving mine for conversion. Then when it gets warmer, find a RCSS near us and see what they have in electronics.
Then we can buy a big ticket item and use PCO points without out of pocket including tax.

Thats a great deal... but it takes me a 1 hr walk in my shoppers just to get $50 worth of great deals. If you can find electronic or high price items I think you should go for it, but I will wait for PC optiumum !

I always have an ongoing list of items I look for - not only high priced ... to me if I can get things that I will need down the road I get them ... $$ is $$ ... I do not care if high value or not... but that is just me!

My strategy is to convert Optimum points to PCO points. I can pretty much price match major supermarkets including SDM at Maxi except Walmart and Giant Tiger. SDM groceries are more expensive than Maxi and they also charge tax. I can probably be able to buy amazon.ca GCs. I have to check if Maxi sells Sephora GCs.

I wonder if they are worried that most are waiting to change to PC and will be spent in Grocery stores were you get a better selection.
It is a lot harder for me to redeem Optimum Points vs PC Points. My 2 location SDM are smaller stores, one does not have grocery at all and the other location they inventory seems to be hit and miss not to mention there staff are not very friendly and almost every time I shop there, there is an issue with checking out even when I am not using coupons.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
