Checking in after a busy day of errands. Had to boost the car battery this morning. Car in the garage over night & the battery only 15 months old. Turns out it`s a dud according to the dealer. Gave me a new battery free...24 month warranty! Good thing as temp is going down to -25C tonight.

It was pretty cold today too, but we had a great day... the visit with dad went as well as it could have (he is 88, in a wheelchair and can not speak) and our jaunt to Niagara Falls was great! We went to Mama Mia's for lunch then to the House of Frankenstein and the Crystal Caves (house of mirrors) on Clifton Hill... Both attractions were a lot of fun.... There was a guy walking around scaring people in the Frankenstein house, so it was pretty scary.... Crystal Caves was a blast!!! They gave us gloves to put on so that we didn't dirty the mirrors... It was really cool... we were warned to walk with our arms in front of us and it's a good thing - we would have gone nose first many times if we didn't.... Originally Posted by attitash

We walked down the hill to get some "touristy" pictures of "The Falls" and it was ccccoooold..... The wind walking up the hill was strong.... good thing for the Tim Horton's at the top of the hill
