Air Miles promo at Shell: GTA only, and participating stations only

For Air Miles members, Shell has this promo https://www.shell.ca/en_ca/motorists...-more-gta.html until Sept 2 that can be used to buy GCs at their stations, except Shell GCs, which are excluded.

Basically, the promo is 5 bonus AM for every $5 spent in-store, max. 100 AM per transaction and 5 transactions per day. So, buying a $100 GC gets you 100 bonus AM (in addition to the base AM). I have seen one report indicating that individual stations may limit quantities.

I haven't gone and looked, but have seen reports that Shell stations carry CT, LCBO and SDM GCs among others. Selection seems likely to vary by station. A list of participating stations is available via the link.

If you believe AM are a cash equivalent and factor in the base miles, this deal works out to approx. 13.6% off. Even if you don't, you may want to consider using this deal to buy GCs that seldom go on sale, like LCBO.

The gcs are specific to lottery. Now i know they have lottery gc that are only for pre determined games ie 649, super 7 i cannot confirm if these are those bit i will be biying one saturday morning so i can confirm then

Went to Rexall yesterday. The $25-$500 load-your-own GC was included in the 10% off sale, which I found very surprising.

I suspect the inclusion of loadables is the reason for the unusual wording about $25 increments. The 10% only applies to $25 increments, so loading $100 gets $10 off but loading any amount from $101 to $124 only gets the same $10 off because the additional amount isn't a $25 increment.

For those interested, I went to Rexall today:
Canadian Tire card: Bought 1 x $100, 10% discount = $90
Got a $10 off card that must be used by June 7
On the receipt, if I fill out the survey I get $5 off if I spend $25

Thank you Miss Molly. I've never received the $10 Rexall Coupon with gift card purchases so will have to check out our local Rexall stores to see if they include the coupon promo with gift card purchases.

Went to several SDMs on Sat (May 26), 1 store said that the $25 SDM Lottery GC sold out, 2 stores said they do not have $25 SDM Lottery GC
Any of you get at least one of this GC?
