If you would normally be willing to redeem at least 50k at the SDM prices available this weekend, it seems like a pretty good deal.
Alternatively, one might look at this as an opportunity to treat oneself, family, etc. at a lower cost than usual.
These are just two possible perspectives. The promo isn't necessarily for everyone - I may well not redeem - but it's hard to see any likely negatives or downsides.

I spent my points right before the redemption was announced but I was able to rack up a few at Rcss today pmd 4 wipes for 19.97 earned 7000 each plus I had 1400/$7 so I can do a redemption of 80000 For $100 seems like a good deal to me

Spent $100.00 and actually had 80,000 points taken. Not sure if I am being stupid but should it not have been only 75,000 points . Wouldn't 80,000 be 20%¿ ??

I think is works like this - 80000 x25% = 20000
80000 + 20000 = 100000 which is $100 worth

80000 points = 100.00 of merchandise with the 25% increase offer (80000 x 1.25 = 100000)
with your calculation 75000 (75000 x 1.25) you would of only been able to purchase 93.75 worth of merchandise
I believe I am correct but if I'm wrong someone please correct me

Hello all,
i would like to take advantage of the spend your point promo for this coming Father's Day. I want to get a tablet for him. Is the Samsung Galaxy 9.6" 16gb tablet worth redeeming ($229)? Any comment is welcome. Thank you!

It depends on what the specific model is (which you may not be able to figure out without actually seeing one in-store or phoning to ask) and on the level of tablet you are willing to buy if the cost is low enough. SDM typically only offers low-end tablets that are often if not always older models, so it that's within the range you're willing to consider, this might be a decent deal for you. But if you want more / better than that, it's very much caveat emptor where you should look closely to see if the model they're selling fits what you're looking for in terms of overall performance and value, not just cost.

I bought both my parents that tablet for Christmas. Both are still working well (I'm a fan of Samsung tablets - I have a 10" I got from Shoppers a few years ago).
I got mine cheaper on Black Friday, but a quick Google search shows that $229 is the going rate right now.
