I also have become very irregular, just like my moods. Hot/cold. Happy/sad. Energetic/lazy.
I can laugh at a chick flick, and cry during the Terminator .

I hate that time of month! People are so much meaner...they conspire against me...then it suddenly stops...funny how that works.
I get every symptom in the book...the mood swings, the awkwardness, the bloating, the back pain, the bad skin complexion. But I don't get them all at once--they occur in random combinations, so each month is slightly different.
Generally I turn from an intelligient, articulate woman to something resembling Jerry Lewis from the Nutty Professor.
My problem is that my PMS symptoms begin just about a week after my cycle has ended...then last until it begins again. That means that for three out of four weeks of the month I am a slave to my hormones.
As for relief, I have found something that helps. It is expensive so I only use it when I really need it, but it has given me relief:

They used to sell it at a nearby PharmaPlus, but I think they discontinued the product. I guess I'll have to purchase it online from now on...

I get mood swings, sometimes.
I never had PMS or cramps or much of a period until the kids. They really messed me up! When I split with the ex I went to the doc to get a tubal. I happened to mention that I was sick of bleeding like a stuck pig every montha and could they do something for me. Well they did, I had an emblasion(heck don't knwo how to spell) basical they burnt out the lining and since then my periods have been getting lighter and the PMS has too. Last month I didn't even know until I went to the bathroom, and it was done the next day.
The only problem I have is now I am starting the hot flashes, well I have been having them on and off since the DS was born. That is what comes with having babbies late, you go from one to the other. I hate waking up at night drenched, so I too sleep with no covers.

I don't bother to ask...I know the truth
Nobody loves me
Yeah, right--you say you do but I know the truth.
Don't lie to me...you're lying I can tell...I know these things...and you think I'm crazy too...you didn't have to say it...you're thinking it...yes, you are, I know these things...

I don't doubt that PMS affects a lot of woman however when the
bad moods, the verbal abuse and the screaming occur, I wonder
how much of it should be blamed on PMS.
OK OK many will disagree but some of what I've heard and seen from
some women are no different than any other time of the month.
Those days are finally over - now Menopause is another blasted thing LOL
but then eventually those nasty sweats do go away.
PS:
Sorry but I'm hearing the next door woman ranting at her
husband & kids - I guess she has PMS all month long'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'
