Requiem, by Frances Itani. Had I read a better description of the novel, I probably wouldn't have bought it (I just quickly read something about a man traveling with his dog on the inside jacket and that was enough to sell me on the book, lol). I'm so pleased that I did bring it home; it wasn't what I was expecting but, it was even more enjoyable than I had imagined it would be. Definitely worth the read.

Nineteen Minutes - Jodi Picoult. Love the author, and love this book. It's about a school shooting. Like all of her other books, this one is very raw and provoking. Had me in tears a couple of times. I highly recommend this one.

The one before was 419. I couldn't finish it. Very dry and long. Don't know how it won an award...
