The Timekeeper, by Mith Albom for our DD for Christmas...she enjoys his work but wouldn't pay $30 for " such a small book". It's on sale so I picked it up to stuff up her stocking...

The Pact, by Jodi Picoult. 10 out of 10.
Couldn't put it down till I had finished it. I really love Picoult's writing style. Very rich in imagery and metaphor and the stories are about difficult life situations that make you gasp with horror. By the end you have rooted for every single character regardless of where they stand int he dilemma. Now THAT'S a good writer."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle
