Just thought this was worth mentioning

I was at extra foods, noticed a certain cat treat (friskies) was on sale when you buy 2 they are $1.50 for 60g a bag. I had a coupon when you buy 2, save $1. That would have made 2 for $2

When they were rang in, they came in wrong ($1.99-the regular price). I went and got the tag and double checked that I had it right.

I went to the customer service counter and told her they were rang in wrong. In the past, I would just have let them reimburse me the difference, which has happened in the past. This time I asked what their policy was, because I read the back of the Walmart flyer once and found out that their policy is if it's rings up wrong, it's free. She said, "yup, absolutely, it's free now. "

You more experienced folks may have already known this, but newbies like me need to know!

And I also got dishwasher cleaner free (will be free when I get the money back from the mail in coupon that I clipped in 2011)

And, happy that I got my sunlight clothes detergent coupons (free bottle) today. Will wait again for BOGO event as the expiry is later. Then I'll have two free bottles (6, actually because I got three coupons)

I think Safeway sometimes does? I know they had it on 2 for $8 not that long ago so 1 would be $4 - $3 = $1!!

We are in Alberta. Save on had the BOGO for sunlight a couple of weeks before Xmas, I'm assuming it will eventually reappear
