Thank you everyone for the comments after surgery, I know I need to speak to the surgeon but was just seeing what others were told as I was getting mixed messages. My hopes are no restrictions other than no Fried and Fatty Foods which seems to be the most common answer.

I was worried if others were saying liquids only I was going to go shopping after work and see if I could find more options. Based on feedback I think I am good.

I have spent today trying to focus really hard on work and not think about my surgery. I am trying not to stress which is hard for me. With that being said I still have some work I have to get done tonight, today was insane for being pulled all over the place.

Alright well better get back to work so hopefully I can get everything done tonight.

    Have a wonderful night everyone

    Morning!

I have a pork roast in the slow cooker today (Was reg $22 and I picked it up for $7.96 as per the pricing stickers....love deals like that) It was big and awkward so happy to have it out of the freezer. I should organize the upright freezer a bit tonight and pull stuff for the week and put in the kitchen freezer so it's on hand to use up.

Tonight- Get laundry on the go. Really only have one load to wash and dry but tons to put away. The nice part is most of it is folded in baskets. I will fill a few bags for the Salvation army and have DS put in my vehicle tonight so I can drop off tomorrow. There is a box ready that has been kicking around and needs to go!

    Have a fantastic day!

Morning -yes frugalbigmama condense for sure is a good feeling -I am going to value village later today to drop off 2 big bay boxes (using these up instead of my garbage bags ) full of stuff we don't need

Just went thru my top freezer and threw a few items out (old buns )and I don't have any chicken so good to use it all up ,I am starting to buy smaller amounts of meat for our freezer as just the 2 of us don't want to end up tossing meat out if it gets so old and freezer burned

I have chicken in my freezer from October that is still fine. It will take me a few months to use it up. I wrap it up really good (I grab a few extra meat/produce bags when buying meat) and wrap it many times.

I will clean out my house freezer tonight too and see what I can toss and what I can add to the meal plan this week. I have fish and brussel sprouts to cook up...I am the only one that likes them so that should be on my menu this week with leftovers for work.....because people love it when you heat up fish at work right??? lol

Well i went to value village got a 20% coupon for donating and spent $18 after 20% got a puzzle and 3 pairs of soft grey track pants (one pair is Nicole millar -a designer pair) as I don't wish to wear jeans anymore just not that comfortable and I guess as I age I want more comfort ,plus I don't like leggings my daughter and daughter-in-law do thou

Then popped into metro and spent $27.28 with tax and got 29 airmiles -I find metro has a lot better airmiles promos than sobeys at least the personal ones are better spend 25.00 get 25 airmiles and it ends on the 5th plus the chicken breasts were on sale ,also they are the only store to sell the siggis yogurt so I used my free cpn I got in the mail a few months back

Did a few errands on my lunch. Went to Food Basics for the .88LB peaches and bought 2 powerade sport bottles at $1 each for DS when he is biking/long boarding with friends. Want him to try the kinds and tell me what kind to stock up on.
Went to CT to get a few keys made and then RCSS to gas up the vehicle @ 112.9L
Now I can go home and get dinner going and laundry etc right after work.

I really need to do laundry but I am sitting on my butt watching Graham Norton. I am working at home Thursday fingers crossed it will be a dry day and I can do the laundry Wednesday night and line dry Thursday. I am really missing the line drying this year.

Morning! Its is beautiful and sunny here now but my co-worker ruined it for me and said rain and thunderstorms later today.

Oldest finished most of the leftovers from dinner last night. I washed up the dishes in the sink this morning. Youngest DS will empty the dishwasher when he gets home. I didn't do laundry last night because I knew I wasn't going to follow thru lol.
Tonight I plan to go buy my Birkenstock sandals that I tried to get on weekend but we were passing thru too early before they opened and then didn't make it back that way.

I cleaned out my vehicle quick this morning while waiting for DS. I put 2 camping chairs in the back to have when needed. I have a jug of windshield fluid I should put in the garage and hopefully won't need to fill the tank till fall.

Off to save my PC pts since I don't plan on shopping today.
    Have a great day everyone!

Does anyone know why celery is so expensive? I was at Fortinos and almost fell over when I saw the price of $5.99!

The price of celery has roughly doubled thanks to heavy rains and a fad diet promoting the healing properties of the vegetable once juiced.
