so i only price matched 2 thing the grapes and the cereal and i had only 9 coupon to use -so i saved 10.90-well the guy ib fronbt of me decided to turn around as he was leaving and saw the coupons in my hand i guess and he then yells out to the cashier and whoever could hear" i dont know why people use coupons to save what 3.00 -wow that is unreal, plus they hold the lineups up-meanwell nobody held his lineup up
i didnt get to address his comment because he scooted out real fast he was in his early 30's i guess - i just laughed the cashier who is a lovely one who uses coupons herself -said well he doesnt know how much we can save -for sure

Some people are just oblivious. All he thinks is its a savings of $3. Not how many times we save $3 and more. Just this year alone in coupon savings I saved $6200. If he saw a twoonie and a loonie on the ground would he step by it and think its too much trouble to bend down and get it. Really some people. We are not asking him to coupon or making snide remarks to him for not using a coupon. So why the need for him to say anything at all really.

Good shopping.
Good thing he was leaving and not waiting behind you in line. He would have been a not so nice customer to the cashier.

Great savings!
Some people just don't get how much money you can save with coupons.

I'm willing to bet it's people with that attitude are the ones racking up debt like crazy! It's amazing how even the smallest coupons add up when you keep track...

I love my coupons and tend to warn people behind me I am going to be using them, but then I also try and give them a couple for their own shopping. To people who say what is the big deal about saving money. I simply turn around and say, actually I save more then half every time I shop. That means I can travel to cuba twice a year and eat like a Queen. What did your grocery shopping buy you?
