Today we adopted a beautiful scrawny momma cat from the SPCA making the count of cats in the house five (we both had two cats when we got together). She just has such an amazing personality that I would have been heartbroken to leave her. And so now we must get some meat on her bones and get the other cats used to her. Her name is Jade.



And we are great cat parents if I do say so myself so please no comments about the number of cats

I have three kitties myself. Including one who is saying hello now as we speak. Three cats is too many for us, but we love the three of them, so they aren't going anywhere. This one is telling me right now it's time to get off the computer and go to bed so I can snuggle.

I'm a serious cat lover too!! I have 2....the first one was a stray that we took in, found out she was pregnant. She had 4 babies 2 days after me and DH got married, and we kept one and found homes for the other 3. And if it wasn't for DH, I'd probably have 10!!

Oh, she's beautiful! We currently have three furgirls - but have had more at any given time.

Good for you forgetting a cat from the SPCA, I think all animal lovers should do the same, you should not be concerned about what other people say about how many pets you have, if you are treating them right, feeding them well, and giving them the love they need then it is all good, and it is very obvious you love her already She is beautiful bye the way

Thanks for all the kind words. She really is amazing - so affectionate and a chatty purring machine. She thinks she is my Momma cause I have had about eight baths of my hands and feet already. She is a puny 4 pound adult (doesn't look it in the picture I know) so there is gonna be lots of fattening up to be done. I am amazed how well socialized she is for a stray but I have to thank the foster home for that.
