Sick part is that I used to live right across from Palais des Congres (in the Guy Favreau complex) and would see all the signs for all these shows and I NEVER went. All those missed opportunities, *sniff* *sniff*

It is super easy to go by metro : Place d'armes, and the metro is in the building.. also there is a tim horton's inside, perhaps if we go, we could all meet there. normaly, if you go early in the morning they give goody bags at the entrance
p.s. I always bring 1 or 2 bags with me, they always give freeby (last time : shick rasors, TP roll !, triscuit )

This sounds like soooo much fun! I'm guessing it's an all-day outing? Has anyone ever gone on a Friday?

If you end up driving, there is parking open to non-residents in the Guy Favreau building which turns out to be cheaper than street parking if you want to be in the area for most of the day. I think it's $15 for the whole day, hourly /half day specials too, and you can access the Palais directly from underground with no need to go out in the cold lol...
The Tim Horton's is really small there though...There is also the food court just a few buildings over at Complexe Desjardins (also can be accessed underground via metro) where there is tons of space to sit and chat.
