Dog Crash!

Let me say that "No dogs were (seriously) hurt in the incident described."

We have 2 dogs - a mini poodle and a mini schnauzer. They both love to race down to the bottom of our garden to chase real and imagined bunnies, squirrels, crows!

When I open the patio door, one heads off to the right and one takes the left stairs - they both then race past the flower garden in the middle of the yard on their way to opposite corners of the yard. ie poodle exits left and winds up at the right hand corner - schnauzer exits right and ends up at the left hand corner. They both run like the wind!

We've always said, "Those two are going to run into each other sometime!"

Well, sometime happened at 8:00 am this morning - first run out of the day - zoom - crash!!

Both fell down with a yelp but got back up and kept going - no apparent problems except the poodle literally had the S*&T knocked/scared out of him!

I didn't see it but my husband did. They've spent the day with no seeming ill-effects.

I hope that they have learned to watch out for passing dogs!

We have a 200+ lb Bull Mastiff Mix, 100 lb Rottie Mix, and a 100lb German Shepard Mix. Lots of crashes at our house too.

With three kitties, we have occasional crashes, but more of the hilarious kind, ninja-style!

That would have been funny to watch, providing of course that neither got hurt. Mine crashed into me once, as usual not paying attention when she runs, and sent me ass over tea kettle breaking my foot.

Man I wish I had seen that posted on YouTube! So glad they were not hurt. The closest to that here was when I opened the glass patio door, and didn't get a chance to open the second door, Murphy came dashing into the kitchen, and headed straight out! ( same thing, crash! into that second glass door , poor baby, I was more upset than him)

I do raw meat and have a 100lb. rottie mix and a 30 lb. Jack russell mix and I think "I've" got it Bad! You must be doggie broke!
