Awesome deal! I wouldn't mind buying that much since I use it all the time for cooking and baking.

WOW! That's an amazing deal!
The cheap butter here is 4.29, and it only ever goes on sale for 2.99.
Wonderful brag and deal.

I'm the same way with butter. The sale is 2.99 and I stock up and even then I try to use it sparingly so that I don't have to pay 4-9.00 for the stuff. I'm suggesting to my hubby that we have a hobby farm. The eggs and butter I go through is ridiculous!

Yeah I like to make my own butter, the use it to make compound butters for steaks or when I make busciuts or homemeade bread... But the $ of cream to make it really isn't that much better... I prefer to use homemade butter for special occasions
But I will say it is a lot of fun to make it, easy as sin, and it tastes great!

Thanks to your post I picked up 20 lbs for the freezer and to give to some family members. There was lots of unsalted left but the salted was almost gone when I got there. Curiously enough the sign said the price was in effect until March 2nd. Maybe they are getting more?? If you find another great deal like this for Red Deer it would be great if you could post under the local deals, I was lucky to find your post this morning!! but Iam glad I did.
