[QUOTE=KrazE;4462068]If Sally is on holidays, someone needs to go look at the train forum as there may be a user with several accounts conducting & trying to start trains. (Edit to update info from ErinsMom)
I haven't checked this thread in ages so I popped in to see the updated blacklist. I noticed this post and I wanted to comment that I have actually spoke with mommieof3 a couple times and she seems like a nice person who has a genuine interest in trading. I helped her to make a trade thread. I don't get a bad vibe that she has other accounts or that her intentions are bad. I just wanted to give my two centsLast edited by Jezebel; Sun, Feb 26th, 2012 at 05:59 PM. Reason: removed threads

Not a negative for me, but for two of my train riders. On a current train I'm running, 2 riders each (1 per each train) found nothing for them. This is the first time this has happened on a train I have run. THe train is a no boarding pass train, but they are still out the postage to mail to the next rider. Is there anything required of us as conductors if this happens? I feel bad about this. THanks.

This actually happened to me too. I rode a traditional train that had absolutely nothing in it I could use. I still put the BP in because it wasn't the conductors fault that there was nothing I wanted. I know now though not to ride traditional trains that are just from Manitoba or the Prairies. Everyone has the same coupons.

I've only participated in two train rides and doubt I'll ever ride another one. I thought it would be a great way to get some tear pad coupons as our stores never have them. Both train evnies had expired, or very close to expiring, coupons as well as multiples of coupons that I think most don't use - eg: tide washing machine cleaner. I was very disappointed. I still put the boarding passes in as well as 'good' coupons as I felt it wasn't the conductors, or the next riders fault. Does leave a sour taste in ones mouth however!

Well I can honestly see why many good conductors have stopped running trains. I am officially never running a train agian on this site. I have run tons of trains. Most of the time in the beginning there were little to no issues. Then people started taking all the coupons and replacing them with expired, trains went missing(stolen), boarding passes were missing, trains filled with crap and so on. Right now I have 3 trains out. One train has been missing for over a month, pmed the rider next in line a few times and no responses though she has been on lately. So that one is now missing and had several hundred in coupons. The riders after that person is out of luck and the contest for the gift card for those who tried for it can't happen since I have no train to see who did what. And now I just learned another one of the three is now missing all but one of the FPC coupons that was in it, the conductors bonus baggie is gone(which is what the contest for the $10 walmart gift card is for) and just about the whole thing is either expired, soon to expire or full of junk though it left with $400 in coupons and I was very specific about what was in there and made sure the dates were known to go into 2013.
I read so much about rider complaints and some are legit complaints but this is just nuts. And yes I require people to have a higher rating to join my trains to try and stop this type of thing but it does no good. To those who enjoyed my trains I am sorry, to those currently on the two trains mentioned I am sorry. There is nothing I can do. The one full of crap I have canceled and directed the rider who let me know of the issues to send it home.
I loved conducting trains. I love the thanks from people when they got their gift cards. But I have yet to have a train in the past while that has not had a serious issue arise because of this type of thing. It is not worth it any more. Sorry for the rant. I am going to go cry now.

Good reason why you should choose your riders or conductors wisely - knock on wood I haven't had a problem YET!!

I did do it wisely. I require a higher trade rating, check to make sure they have no negs, if they do then I say no. I read the responses for those who left trade ratings and so on. What else can I do? There is nothing else I can do. The only option is to not run trains any more since I can't garentee that all the riders are honest.

Still wondering, what, if at all, I Should do in regards to my post about my trains. Any suggestions (see previous post above).
