I am in Hawaii this week and since most everything is imported from the mainland food is very expensive and is taxed. I paid 8 something for a jug of milk-with the exchange rate it is about double what I would pay at home. I just look around for good takeout deals on food-I found coffee across the street for 1.09 each which isn't too bad-and the malasadas(hot doughnuts) are to die for. Gotta walk those calories off!

    @lizzie bargain , Have a wonderful time.

Yes, the prices in Hawaii are shocking, especially if go to any of the resorts.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Was up early this morning which is good but I did not sleep my best last night. Mom came into my room looking for some Halls and once I was awake I could not fall back asleep.

Working on getting my prep done for the week. It is a bit of a slower process today but I am getting it done.

Need to decide on tonight's dinner. Maybe I will see if Mom wants Homemade Pizza, I was Pizza bombed this morning, I had like 5 videos on IG showing people eating pizza, then the show I was watching they were eating pizza and when the show was over I went to Food Network and they were eating pizza, I feel the universe is telling me something.

I have an Apple Upside Down Cake in the oven, I was craving a cake and had a few apples to use up, they are past their just-eating prime. But I did cheat and use a Cake Mix for the cake part.

Time to get back to my veggies that need to be cut up.

    Happy Monday Everyone

I did not get much accomplished yesterday as we met up with my niece and nephew as I have not seen them since summer, they live about 2 hours from us and now that their dad leaves in Nova Scotia they don’t come this way as much. So today I have some plans to sort a few cupboards. DS1 is making dinner. I am off the hook.

Happy Tuesday! We are under a weather "watch". Light snow off and on.

I need coffee! It feels like a Monday!

Good morning. Hope everyone had a great family day.

The sun is finally shining this morning but who knows for how long so going to soak it up.

Ran yesterday and plan to run again today.

Stopped by Save on Foods to get a few things yesterday.

PMd silk coffee creamer to WM
Silk Nextmilk was 1C cheaper than Safeway
Bouillon concentrate was on clearance from $12.99 to $5.50 so grabbed 2
Claimed $3.25 on CO51 and submitted receipt for the free silk coupon promo.

It was a fabulous shopping experience. Clean, full stock and cashier didn’t bat an eye when I asked to pm and use coupons. Such a refreshing change.

My oldest just texted me and told me he wants to start to meal prep on Sunday for the week meals.
He asked me where BLSL chicken was on sale lol. I asked him if he wanted to come here Sunday and we could do it together and can use the stuff I have.
Great way to spend time with my kid
