Good Morning!! Hope everyone is having a great week so far.
The kitchen needs attention. I didn't bother cleaning it last night since I knew I had time this morning so that is my 1st project of the day.
I just went over the upcoming sale flyers and I have a huge list. Lots of sale items on fresh stuff so we will eat well this next week.
We still have taco meat I cooked up on Monday. As well as rice and veggies. I will have the rice bowl for lunch today.
I baked 4 large BLSL chicken breasts last night so that can be dinner tonight.
Will give the fridge a good clean out this morning to sort the leftovers and and make sure nothing gets wasted.
Have a wonderful day!Last edited by Frugalbigmama; Wed, Jun 28th, 2023 at 11:23 AM.

You got a sale on the All Beef hot dogs (which sell at $6+ most times)? Rare event to find them on sale here. The pork ones usually are the ones on sale.

Good Evening Everyone,
Yesterday day was one of those days, I got the bedding done but not the microfibre cloths, I got the kitchen clean but not the bathroom. Oh well, I was being a little overambitious for a workday.
Today I had to go into the plant as one of my customers was coming to count their material on our floor. Did a few other things well I was there and left around noon to come home and type up policies and procedures.
On my way home I ran into No Frills and grabbed Mom more cherries plus I had a PC offer I wanted to stack:
I had a personal offer for Frozen Veggies to pay $2.79/bag limit of 4
Plus I had a PC offer of 400 pts/$2 = 2000 pts for 4 bags
I got a bag each of cauliflower, broccoli, peas & baby carrots.
When I need breaks this afternoon (policy and procedure make me go crossed-eyed) I wrote my grocery list, there are some good produce sales this week. Looks like most of my shopping will be No Frills and Food Basics.
Happy Thursday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I went to Metro to take advantage of an air miles offer if I spent 20.00 on 2 occasions. Doing so earned me 50 miles. I have various offers like this for the past 6 weeks and metro has had some good produce offers so it’s been easy to take advantage of them. I also remembered to upload a receipt to Elipsia so that was another 75 cents in my account.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Feeling tired this morning. Hopefully I will wake up after this coffee I am sipping on.
I have a massage this afternoon so that will make me all relaxed and tired again.

Hello all,
Yesterday was an exhausting day. In a nutshell a client had a “cold but NOT Covid” on Thursday and come to find out her and her daughter have tested positive! Yes, she was masked when I was in her home and she stayed away from me and I never saw the daughter but still. I have been VERY clear with my rule of not coming if anyone isn’t feeling well and they still didn’t tell me. GRRRRRRR! Seriously people, it’s one simple request
. The problem is that it messes with all the progress I’ve made with Covid and my anxiety. I will be sending another text and this is the last time. Next client that does that will be billed for me showing up and leaving AND they will be let go. I’m too old for dealing with people that are older than me that can’t follow 1 basic rule.
Ill be checking the flyers and hoping there’s some good deals since I do need a few things.
Hope everyone has a great day and isn’t affected too much by the wildfire smoke.

Oh, @harbie, it's good that you are looking out for yourself. Definitely keep that boundary in place or clients can go take care of themselves (while crying wolf that s/he cannot get help to work at their residences).

@harbie I'm just fit to be tied after reading about your ordeal and possible exposure to covid. It's not like you're asking too much of the clients to keep you safe. Hoping your
immune system wards off any possibility of catching the damn virus.
I'll not be shopping till Friday, possibly even Saturday. I want all the fresh stuff to be at it's best for the Sunday BBQ. There are enough good sales for the fruits I need, so that was a welcomed surprise.

Thanks everyone. I’m not worried about getting it because of my own personal strict guidelines. I’m ALWAYS masked up before I reach their front door but it’s just that they can’t follow a simple rule.
I don’t care if it is just a cold….. who on earth wants to get sick?! Not me. I’ve lost way too much $$$$$ from the beginning of the pandemic to now so I’d like to minimize any further losses ( and no I didn’t get CERB either).
Seems like people haven’t really learned much from all this
