Thread: Diana's gravy (turkey)
-
Thu, Mar 1st, 2012, 10:35 AM #1
I was in Price Chopper (Trenton) yesturday and saw the Diana's gravy (turkey only) on sale for $.49! I had 6 coupons left ($.50 each)
Made $.06.
I saw the stock boys piling up clemintines under a $1.99 sign and thought WOW, need some of that too. But they rang up as $4.99! SCOP! Free.
Special K blueberry with the mat pins were on clearence ($2.50) and I had 3 $1 coupons from the All Bran cereal boxes. 3 boxes for $4.50, used 2 codes and RAOK the last one.
And I scored 3 coupons for Stag chili (new tear pad, save $.50).
I was delivering some groceries to a friend who just got 22 stitches in his leg, and brought along my first aid kit (still stocked with everything I used for my husbands homecare after his amputation/reconstruction). I saw he had nothing for wrapping it properly... I filled his table with sterile gauze, wraps, padding, scar reducer and supersized bandaids. He was so happy he brought me a big bag of frozen tomatoes from his garden and some venison and goose he hunted before the accident. Hubby says he still has more of the same in his dresser (untouched since 2009), so we'll be back on the weekend! There are somethings I just can't throw out, and hundreds of dollars worth of medical supplies is one of them. It feels pretty good to get rid of a duffle bag full of "clutter". I look forward to the day when my first aid kit fits in something smaller than a gym bag...This thread is currently associated with: Price Chopper, Stitches

Thumbs up on being such a nice person. I am sure your friend appreciated the act of kindness.
