End of month budget clean up.

    PC Pts

    Card #1 1,004,142 (1005.00!!!)
    Card #2 28,734 (28.00)

Paid bills and moved money to various accounts.

Freezer is stocked so really need to start pulling meat from freezer to use it and only buy if great deal.

Have house projects I would like to get done this month. (Painting front doors/garage etc) We took off a screen door and filled the holes but needs to be sanded. Also need DS to remove the doorbell. (we are getting ring cam)
The garage sale will happen this month! We have so much to get rid of.

Congrats on hitting PC Millionaire status!! Well done!!

Best of luck with your home projects...years ago ago, DH and I tracked any home project we did ourselves as a form of savings...it was a huge motivator. We need to get back to it.

Way to go and yes to redeeming points just to ensure they get used. Maybe new patio set or outdoor items if you are near an Rcss store?

Stretch goals and shoes purchase are not going to proceed. Ditto mattress purchase.
Did two in memoriam donations (one planned, one on impulse to recent news) but one glitched so I need to followup online. Plan to give $100 mutual aid to someone's Gofundme for health related needs next Monday(the heat cycle had me thinking better to help someone now to get their needs met; my family might not care for new mattress anyway). Phone plan has to be acquired next week, as well as haircut (likely going to be diy, as the heat is pulverising me and I need cooler head to see July through).
Managed to find baby shorts at Winners despite being over $10 amount for one top that I had ordered. Think I will have to pass on adding toy to clothing gifts. Greeting card is jotted plus have one perfect gift bag and tissue paper ready for items arriving next week.
Finally bought two boxes of Longos ice cream treats and burgers since seeing them last weekend. Treats softened on 30 min walk but stayed intact in the cooler bag.
Need postage stamps tomorrow and will get just enough stamps to use up small denominations and get 4 or 5 envelopes out. Then I can look forward to last of soccer coverage Copa america and Summer Games tv coverage.

Cellular phone plan acquired today. Having issues with phone app but did test new number via emergency contact to home phone. Noticed I'll have to adjust a volume setting on phone. Messages aka texting works as I got my codes from cell provider. Some things did not sink in until I got home. One year Canada wide calling; US calling not included.

The on the go microusb adaptor arrived today (after ordering it last night) that accepts Usb A cords stiffly fits into phone port.Alas I can't seem to get default printing to work with printer. Will tinker some more to see if I find the setting that works.

May try to get replacement light cover for basement light fixture before end of week.

Have cash ready to pay balance due on property taxes for 2024. (Due end of September but will pay soon to have it done with)
Will transfer the funds from budgeted amount to Savings/Travel.

September- shoes and haircut. Also considering getting that gas monitor for CO alarm plus looking for smoke detector deals as two units need replacing by January. I know that Oct is good for detectors and extinguishers going on sale before clock change.
October-gift books order and possibly secondhand phone.

Walmart has signs posted at cash that soon it will no longer accept US cash in the coming six months. Customers will have to go to a legacy register to use US funds (what is a legacy register?)

    Budget Clean up.

    PC PTs

    $955.00 Card #1
    $8.00 Card #2
I have redeemed points the past month on a few shops (SDM I stocked up on $2 cleaners) (redeemed for birthday meal Start of September (cake/other items to make meal)

Groceries- Really trying to not buy stuff for the freezer but it is so hard. Monday I picked up a tray of fresh chicken while in the store that I was going to make for dinner and then decided to put it back and just go home and take stuff out of the freezer. I need to keep doing this!
Going for a low spend month and will keep track! It helps that our fridge is full right now of all the basics (eggs/cheese/bread/apples/clementines etc) And we have pineapple and cantelope on the counter so we are good for a week at least with no shopping.

Projects- Getting the things done before snowfall. Will write out the list and tackle it. (finish painting front door is the plan this week)

New shoes were purchased last week so I feel better when walking as soles are gripping.
The second smoke detector/co alarm-Mom did not goto Rona+ for discount and I was too tired to do a second walk. Will wait to see if Rona puts them in flyer on sale or Cdn Tire has a sale on the brand I want.

*Keurig K-mini brewers will be on sale tomorrow for $59.99, 10 less than I had paid last month on sale!!! Cdn Tire.
