Well went to my doctors this morning ,i have to see a specialist in time .

Then popped over to walmart got
    (2) royale velour toilet paper 24=48=10.97-2.00 checkout51=8.97
    (3) cans of delmonte pears on sale 1.97-1.00 on checkout51=.97 they only had 3 left .

I just wanted to stock up a bit on toilet paper at that price ,trying to use points or cashback if there is no coupons .

Now i can cash out of checkout51 again $22.60.

Popped out to get a few errands done.
Paid 2nd quarter property taxes due end of April.
Went to bank to see how much my US $ would convert to Canadian $. (I have a US Account)
$1000 US would get me $1,312.00 Canadian- Seems not good? Will look into it more before I do it.
Went to Food Basics (tomato- thinking BLT for tomorrow!) Milk and a few other things.
Went to GT- Mccain potato tots for DS/Leadbetter Steak/Cheese bar.

#Spwinter is in effect. Nice soft wet snow is accumulating like it should have done over a week ago.

I've been in my Yahoo e-mails over the past two hours and there are no Amazon Prime member emails about tomorrow's Big Spring Sale.

However an order issue has been resolved-it seems my order is finally in and I got the email two minutes before customer service emailed me about the followup. Lesson learned-always write down your order number in case you have to use the online contact form and provide information later.

Second day without mail or flyers. Think there will be a bonanza mail day soon...

Welcome back @Frugalbigmama ! Lady luck is still following you at the casino-nice way to get back into the routine after your vacation.

Thank you @Ciel . It's always nice to go away on vacation but also feel good when back home....... Still haven't unpacked/done laundry. Today hopefully!

Work day looks good. Looking forward to meeting my friend this evening to catch up.

Enjoying my coffee while planning my work day. Thinking oatmeal with almond milk, walnuts and fresh strawberries for breakfast. Will try and wait till noon to eat. Then wash up the dishes.

Mac and cheese made. Kitchen cleaned!

I picked up nice tomatoes yesterday so BLT was on the dinner menu. I think I will have that again it was so good!
Others can have mac and cheese/ taco leftovers for dinner.

Unpacked and laundry piles ready to start washing...maybe tomorrow lol.

We are getting some wicked weather. Blizzard one minute. Clear and sunny the next.

Mr. Wind just picked up speed here in Ancaster about 10minutes ago. Will stay home for now and do errands tomorrow as it'll be a calmer day. Weather travel advisory for afternoon into early evening-chance of poor visibility during flurries coming through.

Rona's flyer tomorrow has $5/$10/$15 deals for garden/home/outdoor. @ShwaGirl -I was looking for any gift card or Aeroplan offers and noticed $5 bags of soil or fertilizer and thought of you.

Breakfast-I decided cubed sweet potatoes to cook and mash with some ground nutmeg was the plan. Had my tea ready beforehand so I could enjoy it during cooking time. Feel so snacky-will get a pear soon and rustle up some spaghetti to cook and add spicy pasta sauce (I've gone through the sweet basil marinara sauces). Not sure what's on hand to make a loaf or cookie but I feel overdue to make something, anything...
At least I still have some library materials to enjoy. The Food & Drink issue is out today if you are already going in the direction of the LBCO or later this week.

Canadian Tire's Triangle Rewards program is partnering with Petro-Points. See the website link and details in the Rewards thread in the FINANCE subforum. Also shared that post in the CT Triangle Rewards -swap offers thread in the DEALS subforum.

Yes I noticed that on my gas receipt AFTER I filled up...It looks like we can use both Petro points and the Triangle card. I "think" RBC partners with Petro so I'm going to do some research to see if I can tag on that deal for a triple deal of sorts perhaps via Avion points (a dumb program but oh well)
I had to chuckle yesterday...I had an offer for $3 in CT money if I filled up with 25 litres..the pump stopped at 24.17 litres...so I topped it up to get over 25 litres...my car was the fullest it's ever been with gas lol.

@crafter you do save 3cents per Litre when you link your RBC debit or credit card with Petro Points! Save 3¢/L as you pump - RBC Royal Bank and if you pay with your RBC card, you can earn 20% more Petro Points. And score 20% more Avion points on certain RBC Avion cards.

BTW RBC is partnered with Be Well program (Rexall/Well.ca) too so maybe another linkage to use as well. I don't know how you'd be able to track all the points/transactions with each additional card linked to a RBC card.

My poor hands are not happy with the dry air and constant submergence in sudsy water. I really need that Nivea hand repair product as the little splits on the fingers accumulate. Ozonol and Band-Aids are really useful this week.

When I was looking at the Sobeys/Safeway AB/SK/MB flyer (to see if the gift card offer differs), I noticed that the Affresh laundry washer tablets are $9.99 and net one 100 SCENE+ pts too starting tomorrow. (On the matter of SCENE+ pts redemptions-I noticed on the program's Facebook page that something is holding up members' ability to REDEEM SCENE+ pts. Glitch? Hack? Same answer given to members who post and are losing their cool at the time passing by with no redemptions happening. Any insights?)

In other news, Madame Web movie is already available to buy/rent on Cineplex with the DVD coming out April 30. When it was screening ever so briefly in our area, only the more expensive screen options were available for ticket purchases.

I can empathize with you. The same happens to me, with my hands and feet. During the winter, they seem to crack and split painfully along the folds of my skin more often and take forever to heal. The only cure for me is to catch them during early onset of the cracking and start applying vaseline to the areas to keep them moisturized. If I am diligent, I can usually minimize the damage.

Good Morning! Looks like I get to go out for some fresh air and shovel. Which is good since I didn't go out at all yesterday. The weather was terrible and didn't make sense to go out for a coffee and drive last night. Hopefully tonight I will see my friend.

DS had a late dentist appt. and I had my 2nd wind so was waiting for him to return home to get his help on a few things. We got so many things done!
He helped taking laundry to and from the laundry room. Hung up a load to dry. Have a load to fold and put away. We put out so much recycling to the garage. He dealt with his hockey bag and febreezed what we couldn't wash. Every dish in our house has been washed/dried and put away!

Today- Will continue on laundry. Clean one bathroom. Write out "to do list" of things that I would like done in the next week.

PC Offers- RCSS- Spend $15 x 2 get 3000 pts. Guess I haven't used my PC MC in a long while and they want me to scan it.

    Have a great day!

Snow wasn't that bad. It always seems to build up in our walkway/off porch so once I got out there is was nothing really.
Easy shoveling today! Don't want to jinx us but pretty sure we will make it through the 2023/2024 winter without having to text our snow guy
The money put aside for him will remain untouched

1st $15 shop done at RCSS- Flat of eggs and 2 packages of drumsticks (DS loves these)

Renewed my DL and Health card. Tried to do so online but needed to go in for new pictures.

    Gas has gone up here

I need to go downtown to the bank. Will pop into Independent while down there and see if there are any deals.

What a busy few days it’s been.

The weather was FANTASTIC and we were able to take our first ride of 2024! We tried to pickleball it the courts were always in use because of spring break .

Lots of walks around the lagoon and Limpy visiting

I did a huge deep clean which included cleaning the vacuum cleaner.

Taxes are done and at the accountants and I started on this years already.

We have to hit up Costco today and I’m hoping that it won’t be super busy close to closing time. With spring break it’s making shopping harder so fingers crossed it won’t be too bad.

I'm needing to get some meal plan and prep done for my upcoming surgery and I have some baking to do for a construction build so the volunteers have some things for coffee breaks. Banana chocolate chip bread and chocolate chip cookies (maybe blueberry muffins if I have time) all while working and getting work situated for my upcoming time off . I’m sleepy already.

    Have a great Thursday everyone
