Good Morning Everyone,
Wasn't planning on having a lazy morning but has kind of become one. I do not know where the time went, I looked down and it is almost 9 am.

Enjoying a cup of tea, I finished the Gummy Bear I was crocheting last night, I was tired and had to stop because I kept messing up. Plus my yarn decided to tangle and I just gave up and went to bed.

Think I am going to go make a batch of Muffins I feel like it has been a long time since I made Muffins. Will see if my Bananas are ready to become muffins if not I could make Lemon Ricotta or Blueberry, love options.

I am also feeling some cookies so I might make some of those today as well.

Maybe I will just have a Kitchen day.

Wondering if I should see if Mom wants to make herself some soup incase they do the dental work on Monday and she needs soft foods. I am stocked up on potatoes so I could make Mashed Potatoes, we have options.

Morning everyone i am still sore (doctor said i may be bruised on my left side)but just doing nothing this weekend .I am so glad hubby came with me yesterday to food basics ,the fridge is full .

Good sunny Saturday morning everyone.

Another day of no plans. Yesterday I managed to tidy the kitchen, polish the sink, wash a batch of towels and fold some sheets. That was the extent of my work. Going to find something else that I can do for today…..

We need to do a Costco run so we’ll see when I get that done.

The car goes in on Monday for some work but we’ve budgeted for that, thank goodness!

Yikes, coupongirl. I am glad to hear you had such good care but what a fright.
I don’t think we need much in the way of groceries, really just produce. I did take advantage of the lettuce and mushrooms at Walmart. Then I see green beans on for 88 cents at metro. I may do my shopping there because peppers are 1.99 a pound and I have an air miles offer of spend 20.00 get 50 Air Miles.

@lilo0003 check and see if you have the Airmiles Flash offer for spent $20 with a BMO master card at Metro get 100 AM the offer ends tomorrow April 21.

Let the afternoon yesterday get away from me but managed to get some photo printing done and have just a teeny smidge of black ink and colour ink left in the printer. Photo paper is down to 14 blank sheets. Need more ink and paper otherwise, someone is going to have a delay in getting their photo packet. I seem to be going through my carousel horse stamps but they make the envelopes seem very special.

Today-joint pain here there and everywhere. Posterior feels like it's half-crumpled and there's pain too. Since Mom got a lot of reduced produce (too many red peppers in bags at Walmart but I used one today), I decided to roast some of the wilting celery, two apples, two carrots and one small onion. Warmed up the house at the same I was finishing off Bro's Spicy Doritos (he's really snacking almost like he was last year; something definitely got him going off his plans) in front of the tv this morning.

Running loads of laundry including my bedding. Got a surprise that I felt was not fair so I am fuming for the past couple of hours. Bro did something I did not expect-he's put Mom on the Internet bill and it's now bundled with discount for Internet & phone (like a new customer, so he's out of the plan he agreed to 2-3 yr ago) plus a certain home phone plan. Discounts will last for 2 years. So this way, if Mom asks Bell to port our number over to ISP, she can do so (I am doubtful but Mom would like to retain the number). To add more outrage, the installation appt is set for next week in the afternoon when Bro is likely not going to be present. Mug of green tea has barely kept me from screaming at brother. He got some of my wrath; I thought we were going to review cell phone plans this weekend. This is a repeating thing-Mom goes along with brother, I found out something was decided upon and feel like I am the perpetual spectator in this so-called family and have to clean up someone's mess. Well, I can play it back and not be helpful during the appointment-let Mom deal with the service call. Wait until she finds out she has an ISP based email account...I won't be swayed to help. She'll have a steep learning curve and I don't have two years of life energy to coddle her until she feels comfortable using tech on her own. Been there done that 3 x (2 dvd players and the Youtube app on the Roku tv).

And I noticed earlier that the ISP modem (on the new service paperwork, we are not getting charged full-price for any modem as there seems to be a 50% off credit) is on wifi setting as all lights are lit up. Bro claims I set them on (not sure how?). There must have been a power dip that I did not notice today which is usual way the wi-fi lights come on as device reboots. I don't have admin access to the modem only the power button and the cord. Perhaps the vacuum cleaner on same circuit as operating washer and sleeping computer caused the power issue (everything works) as I did vacuum two rooms while I was on my own for a time.

While looking at the Shoppers flyer, my eyes were drawn to the electronics clearance photo. Is that Wicked Audio boombox some kind of Bluetooth speaker? Does it emit bubble mix? I still am trying to find the Giant Tiger item from 2023 with the speaker/bubbler features.

@coupongirl : I am glad for you that was nothing too serious.I would be freak it out also.Maybe 7-8 years ago,I tought I was doing one .I did go to emergengy.I had heart pain and arm pain.They put me on electrocardiogram.It was a result of a serious panick attack.I am glad it was not a heart attack oh my gosh!
@harbie : I am happy and glad also for you your surgery went okaie smootly without any problems.I am wishing you a great recovery.
@walkonby : I will pray for you for your surgery of your knee in a few days.Everthing will be okaie I am sure!You are well prepared for the after part of the surgery too

Good evening everyone.
I am still reading and enjoying all the posts.
Stella is doing better.She is on 2 weeks on antibiotic pills.For Eve it is unfortunnatly her eldery that results many small problems...
My dad will have x ray and tests on his legs...They are blocked.So after he will have in upcoming days or month a surgery for that...
Grr grocery is such an arguuing those time and planning menus too...a bit tired of that

Well this afternoon i went to an oncall doctor for my pain in my ribs and upper shoulder ,she told me to get to emergency as i may have a clot and it may break off into a stroke-uhhh.So off to the same hospital to get a chest xray on my upper body 5 and a half hours later ,I got told it is just bruising and the doctor gave me a prescription for meds for the pain (may take a few weeks she said for me to feel better)

Wow i am so done with hospitals 12 hours the past few days spent there.Hubby did a nice thing and bought a lady a bagel as she hadnt ate since 10.00 a..m-there is a timmies in the hospital .

Any way i am home now and fine just bruised a bit internally.

It is early morning still, but I'm just reading through these few posts as I sip my coffee. It gives me a " feel good " vibe catching up with all the sc members on here.
@Angela273 you're right on the ball getting those clothing bargains for the family, that saves plenty in the big picture.
@cath007 thanks for encouraging me about tomorrow. Sure I'm scared but with a positive attitude I hope to rebuild my body. ( 1 limb at a time! )
@coupon girl I still say you did the safe thing by returning to the hospital. If there was even a chance that there was a blood clot you had to rule it out.
I hear you aboutbeing done with Hospitals, Emerg visits can do that to us.
@Ciel21 those aches and body pains you are having are very familiar sounding, the description of your posterior being half crumpled gave me a visual. lol.

I took advantage of the Airmiles offer spent $20 and get back 100 Airmiles. With the rising cost for groceries I have to look for all the sales and loyalty rebate if I want to save some money

Good Morning Everyone,
I was torn this morning on do I take this weekend off or do I try to tackle some of the things (let's be real, we aren't getting all of the things done).

I really liked the idea of taking the weekend off but I know I just do not get much done during the week. I really wish I got more done during the week and I am working on it but it is a still a huge struggle for me.

I decided I would go and clean the bathtub knowing Mom would probably take a bath right when she got up. Well, that led to okay let's just deep clean the Bathroom, it needs it, let's do this. Not going to lie, it did not go well, the swiffer wasn't working I couldn't get enough scrubbing power even using and mold and mildew spray. So I changed to a mop with dish soap and vinegar, it got some of it off but still not enough scrubbing power. I did hand scrub the areas I could reach well standing on the side of the tub. I did the best I could. I did the other stuff too except the floor, it was wet so I could not swiffer it, will get to that later today.

I am going to go on Amazon and look at those Bathroom Tub cleaners, I think I need it for the ceiling but can also use it in the kitchen to clean that ceiling and the cabinets.

Also mentioned to Mom again that we need to get the bathroom done ASAP. I want one of the surrounds like we had in our old house that covers the ceiling as well. Once the Bathtub is done than I can prime and paint the rest of bathroom because I am 98% sure the previous owner did not use Bathroom Paint, I am pretty sure they just used leftover paint from the main floor hallway. I seem to remember him saying he did not believe in Kitchen and Bathroom Paint.

Only thing is I would literally paint our whole house Grey but I do not think Mom agrees.

Stopping for something to eat and then it is time to tackle all the other things.
