Oh yeah, I forgot that from 6:30 a.m. till around 8:30 a.m. I started the daunting task of emptying DD's old room out, sorting sooo much
clothing into piles to be bagged up, books, shoes, jewelry, mementoes. When she moved out she could only take so much to her new smaller
apartment. The antique vanity was the only item she wanted, but has no room for it now at her place. Np, we can live with that in the room.
The Thrift store is getting another large donation, but not from any of her things......our " stuff " that I forgot we had piled into her closet...ha ha
It'll probably take me all week to finish this task but doing a bit everyday will make it more manageable and easier on my joints.
We all need a project, this is mine atm.
@walkonby you and my 2 DDS have the same plan they both decided that we have too much stuff in our house so the are on a mission to get raid of whatever is not using and just sitting there as the put it collecting dust and some else can used it. I am not allowed to take back anything from the pile.

^^ lol. @flemeth with your 2 DD's in charge of the purge what can possibly go wrong? It seems painful at first BUT truly if we haven't got around to using
an item ( or many items ) in 5 years then when do we think we will pick them up again? All the best!!

Good Day! Cold damp day today.

Has been a productive day workwise- caught up on everything from being off work 6 days.
Unpacked and vacation laundry washed and hanging to dry. Load of boys laundry washed and in the dryer.
Cleaned out my shopping bag (coupons/change to spend) Tossed the expired coupons (lots) and sorted the valid ones. Put $100 in loonies/quarters in the bag for grocery shopping. Wrote out a list from the upcoming sale flyers- Nothing really must have. Some stock up items, some to make meals easy for DS when nothing is planned/made for dinner lol.
May redeem $100 PC pts for a coffee maker/HBA items and get back $25 in points. Will see what I find.

Took steak out of the freezer for dinner. Thinking perogies to use up the 2 open bags in freezer. And will figure out a veggie-maybe brocolli and fresh carrots.

I tucked my wallet away before vacation (just took the cards I needed) No idea where I put it and I need my bank card to make a deposit at the bank machine.
Hoping while tidying up I come across it soon!

I need some fresh air so after work I am going to take our bath mat to the laundromat and toss in machine and then walk to the No Frills and take a look around. Will hang the mat to dry at home and give the bathroom floor a good scrub this evening

    Have a great day!

Went to bank to deposit cash.
Popped into No Frills and bought:
2 x Reese Minis (boys Christmas bags)
    Cadbury choc bar (me)
2 x Helluva good dip (will grab chips to go with)
2 x kolbassa (DS seems to like it)
$21.04 Redeemed $20 in PC pts paid $1.05

Then went that way home so I could grab the windshield washer fluid
    .60 for 3 bananas
    6 x $2.88 Windshield fluid
$20.13 total- Redeemed $20 in pc pts paid .15C and received 6000 PC pts for the fluid (1000 per jug)

Now my boys are stocked up for the winter and just grab it as they need it.

I want to get the Rio Mare 3 pk of tuna on sale for $4.99 and at NF I have an offer for 3,000 points wys $20.00 on canned fish. ( I'll split the cans I buy between DS and I, he likes Spam! ugh!! lol ) . Then it's back to my DD's bedroom....a work in progress, I should have Crime Scene tape over the doorway to the closet. Happy shopping today for your grand-girls and boy!!

    @Giseledta welcome back

@walkonby , I am so jealous of your purging. Love the early morning shopping, running to Wal-Mart for a flyer to PM at No Frills, love it.

    Good Morning Everyone,
    I finally slept, yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much in the flyers this week for us but will stop and grab a few things as I need to pick up some prescriptions and go get jabbed in the arm later today. Which reminds me I still need to book our Covid and Flu shots but they told us to wait until we are better and we both still have symptoms.

Yesterday was a day at work, oh my gosh, I literally felt like "what now" almost all day. I felt like a chicken with my head chopped off running from one fire to the next almost all day.

Today I am struggling with to email or not to email, I have been trying to be more vocal which is not me but yesterday I did have a few "moment" and the emails flew. Now I feel like I do not want to cross the line which is hard because I do not know where the line is. Oh well, we shall see how today goes.

I desperately need to try to get some house stuff done today. My plan was to break it up like I did on Monday yesterday but work was so insane it did not happen. Hoping for a better day today.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

@walkonby , compliments on you and your family's raising of your DD. She has her own place. Yay. In 2024, not easy for many. And not easy for 20 something year olds. Well done Mom of hers.
