Good Morning Everyone,
We got a light layer snow overnight, cannot complain based on what some other areas received.
When I went to Costco on Saturday I grabbed a snow brush, last week I realized since switching cars I had not put my snow brushes in my new car. Then on Friday when they were calling for snow I thought hmmm, my new car is bigger and I just had a basic snow brush and I wouldn't be able to clean the roof so well at Costco I grabbed one for $20.
Last Night we had a Blueberry Dutch Baby for Dinner because we had a late lunch and we weren't very hungry.
I am thinking tonight I might make a Shepherd's Pie, it feels warm and comforting. But if I make that I want to make some Homemade Bread, hmmm maybe I could whip that up on my lunch today. Will see what Mom thinks when she gets up.
I did take a quick break this morning and cleaned up the kitchen, finished loading the dishwasher which is running now and washed the skillet from last night's dinner.
Still have a bunch of other things that need my attention. I am finally feeling like myself again after being sick so now it is time to catch up and get back into my routines.
Happy Monday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

Finally starting to warm up here. Just back from a Costco run. None of the cheaper raisins or Vit C in stock-and I refuse to pay 18.99 for a box of Sunmaid raisins. SA thanks for the heads up about $6.00 off chicken breasts. I picked some of them up. I am telling you I never should have gone down the chocolate aisle though!

I won a prize from our optometrist office. I donated food for their foodbank drive and won a prize worth $65. It is an insulated engraved coffee cup ($42 on the brand’s website), $17 box of turtles, eye glass cleaning kit with travel case. It was a nice little surprise.

Good Day! Sunshine and blue skies. Does this mean the snow is not happening today? Weather apps shows snow 24/7 lol
My vehicle didn't move again yesterday. Need to move it today for sure! But this sunshine is great for a walk when bundled up so maybe just will start the car for a bit.
DS liked the pasta bake- Too much cheese for me so I didn't love it. Someone had a few portions late last night so it will be eaten!
Started to plan May 2024 road trip to South Dakota! Hotel room booked for 4 nights so far. (free cancellation) My bestie lives on the way (4.5 hrs from us) so will plan to go there a few days at the start and then leave her place at 4am and cross the border around 4:45am which will give us a good head start
Still figuring out the stops/must eats
The fun part of the road trip is the planning for me
But now I need to get into the Christmas spirit...still not motivated to decorate or wrap gifts but I need to get at it this week. I'm going to write out a "to do" list and then hopefully I can scratch stuff off before the weekend.
What's for dinner tonight? I just don't feel like planning anything. Think it may be a fend for yourself kind of night.
Have a great day!

Then popped into urban planet -got 2 stocking stuffers 50% $4.00 for 5.00 pairs of socks for little miss cara and 3.00 for glitter for Ashlyn-i could have went upstairs to look at the kids clothing but my arthritis is so bad again today in my knees.
Darn it we had to take the stairs to the second floor of mall .
Returned a long sleeve top to old navy -too short and tight around the wrist .uggggg

OUCH and ouch again to your aching knees @coupon girl . That is fantastic that you're Christmas shopping is done for the grandkids!!
Way ahead of most of the rest of us. This is a year of BIG change for the way we do our usual Christmas celebration ( Both on the Eve & on Christmas Day ).
In involves less kitchen work for me ( I voted for that! ), less spending on gifts for each other ( we're all adults....sniff, sniff,
there is NO Santa Claus
)
Hopefully the gang can put their thinking caps on and come up with some fresh new IDEAS!! ( games maybe? )
This year there will be no food before the Christmas Day dinner. O.k. I don't mean " no food " , just not an overabundance of appy's ( homemade or
otherwise ). Often that pre-eating fills everyone up and then much of the dinner food turns into leftovers because of full tummies.
Wish us luck.

I found a few Flashfood deals today and some clearance Cadbury eggs. The bread was 60 cents a loaf and it was still pretty fresh and since I prefer toast this will be perfect. I had an offer so the eggs earned PCO. All were tucked away for stocking stuffers. I was also able to price PC Veg at RCSS and had an offer. So I earned 6600 PCO for 4 packs of frozen veg. It’s nice to get deals like this occasionally.
Coupongirl, I envy your Christmas shopping. Older kids are so hard to buy for and I had a moment of panic when I realized that Christmas is 3 weeks away.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

I've missed this group..
Let me see .. we are under snow. So much snow. And more tomorrow!! Lol
I'm waiting on 1 more package.. it's a daycare gift.
I am having mild panics that Christmas is so close. Have to get a move on with that.
Looking forward to sales flyers tomorrow, I need to figure out if this is a costxo week, might delay it a week..
Hugs to all
I love reading and catching up.
