Have you noticed less coupons in 2012???

I have noticed a lot less coupons in our stores this year, especially for food items like bread. I realize we don't have the toonies for tummies program this year. Anyone else noticing the same trend...

I think it's been longer than just since January. I've found very few tearpads in stores.

My stash has gotten pretty big. *looks over* I'm pretty happy so far. Others have said the same as you, however.

The d'Italiano coupon just came out so maybe you'll find that.

I don't know if it was this year or just at the end of last year, but I have bread coupons for st methode, premiere fournee, gadoua and bon matin. This could be because of Quebec lol.

For everything else, I'm pretty well stocked. I find new coupons every week.

Personally I am not having much luck finding coupons in stores. I find the inserts are coming about the same rate, but the content isn't ideal. Coupons from online sources seem to be about the same as in the past.

I've still seen a fair number of tearpads, but as I haven't been actively trading in a while I haven't been taking any of the coupons that I won't use myself. Most are for items I can't/won't use anyways.

I find there is less variety. When I first started I could go on a coupon run and find up to 30 new ones now I am lucky to find 10.

I haven't noticed there being fewer coupons at all - maybe it's a regional thing, or just that various people are looking out for different coupons.

I live in a small town, and I almost never saw any tearpads. I could count on one hand how many I found in years. This year, I have found two different hair dyes, Lever 2000, Clean and Clear Body Wash, Noxzema, Pedigree dog food and Pedigree Dog Treats. Also VH sauce coupons (2 different ones) and a couple others that I didn't need, so I didn't take. And about 5 different tear pads at No Frills. So far this year I have found more in two months than I have in years! I would love to see some grocery coupons. But I doubt it since my local WM has never had one tear pad coupon EVER and the local grocery store stopped getting them in. Oh, I forgot, my husband picked up Mini Wheats, Highlander and something else for me too.

I couldn't agree more. I am finding alot less beauty, hygene product coupons. I am also finding alot more empty tearpads in the grocery stores. The values of alot of the coupons has gone down also.

I agree alot more people are taking coupons making harder to find - couponing is becoming a competative sport!
