Costco was painless. $35.95 for coffee beans and a pair of capri yoga pants for summer. I will try them on tomorrow but I think I am really going to like them!

I was up early this morning and walked around to get my steps in. Feeling tired now. Time to heat up my leftovers for dinner.

Hummus- I am obsessed. Anyone have an easy and awesome recipe? The price is getting crazy and I think this will be a keeper for me.

I haven't tried making my own hummus. .. I think it uses tahini? Not sure. Definitely worth exploring

@walkonby , I think we had the same conversation just different produce, I had the same talk with Mom reminding her of what was in the fridge and also telling her for some it like the apples we have more feel free to eat, I can cut up more.

    @Giseledta , Thank you.

@Frugalbigmama , I do not have a hummus recipe but my brother's ex used to make one I am told is to die for (I can't confirm, I do not eat hummus) but she told us the key is cooking the beans yourself and letting them simmer so they become soft and silky.

    Good Evening Everyone,
Today was another in office day, I was training a production supervisor which is a new role to us. I have lost track of how many titles we now have with production in them.

I also had an IT Demo, I am torn, I wanted to love it but not sure I do so we will see. It is for production so ultimately it comes down to can they work with it.

After work I went to Costco, I did not want to go to Costco on a Monday but it is the only day this week without rain or snow so today was the day. Again no Greek Yogurt UGH!!!!!!!!!! Also, who am I, twice now I have gone to Costco and come in under budget and I did a grab a few extra things:
Olive Oil - I have heard this might be going up again and the Costco Bottle lasts forever so I grabbed one for the pantry.
Kirkland Version of Advil Cold & Sinus - Normally I stock up when it goes on sale but I am opening my last bottle and since I broke my nose it is the only one that helps with the pressure in my face. Sometimes they disappear during the summer as they are seasonal????? My sinus still hate me in the summer, just saying LOL.
2 x Mini Cucumbers - they were on sale and I am on a mission to eat my body weight to cucumbers each week, I love cucumbers and always have.
Without these I would have only spent about half my budget but happy to have them and hopefully won't have to buy again anytime soon.

I must say, I am loving these longer days, it really helps me to continue to get things done after work. It feels so great to be able to run errands and still get home when it is light out.

Kept dinner simple, used the Manicotti we stuffed yesterday added some pasta sauce and baked off. Used the Homemade Bread to make Garlic Toast, then because I try to eat my body weight in cucumbers each week I made a Cucumber Cesar Salad (I might be obsessed).

    Happy Monday Everyone.

    Happy Tuesday!!

Enjoying my coffee... and not even upset the price is double now for my beans... well yes I am but trying not to think about it and just enjoying it
I used a little less then normal and my coffee is perfect so there is that!

    Today- Work.
Clean the kitchen after being away Sunday night.....didn't clean the kitchen at all yesterday even though we were all mostly just heating up food but there are still dishes like always!
Toss a load of laundry in the washer and then hang up to dry.
Give one bathroom a good clean.
Tidy up dining room. Put stuff away where it belongs.
Shower and get out for a walk.

Yesterday on the way home topped up the gas tank. I usually just want to get home after a night away but gas was 12cents cheaper a L and under half so happy we stopped. And now I don't have to worry about getting gas Sometimes I need to slow down and just do things I don't want to do because in the end I appreciate it!

    Have a wonderful day!

    Good Evening everyone,
Another in office day for training plus it was one of our assistants last day, said goodbye.

Not stopping on the way today, although I should go to Wal-Mart soon as we need Band-Aids. Will see what the weather is like tomorrow.

When I went out this morning there was ice on our stairs and cars but the roads seemed fine. No one was reporting it but there was an accident on the highway I ended up behind it on the highway. Just as I was getting semi close, I could see where it was, it cleared. I was driving for the conditions and did not find it bad.

Guess we see what Trump has to say tonight, our industry is facing double tariffs. If you are in a industry where he is threatening a Tariff on your product you will be charge this tariff plus the tariff on all Canadian Goods as he is set to have them stack. But I guess we wait and see.

Tonight I am using the Greek Meatballs I made on the weekend and am making a Lemon Orzo and Roasted some Asparagus with Lemon Zest. I also made some Garlic Garlic sauce as a saw a lot of people post they wanted a sauce with the meatballs.

I keep thinking it is Wednesday, probably because I don't usually train on Mondays, I keep thinking I should be checking the flyers for the new sales LOL. Tomorrow I will check the flyers and see if there are any stock up deals to be had. Although, I hope I don't jinx myself, when I say this I usually do but a smaller just fresh stuff shopping week would work for me.

Not going to lie I feel like with all of this uncertainty if there is a good stock up deal I should take advantage.

    Happy Tuesday Everyone.

Finally a moment to post! Obviously I was busy leading up to my parents 60th luncheon but then right back to work I went! Now I can breathe….at least until after we eat and then I’m off to get diesel tonight for more work tomorrow and the rest of the week!

My parents 60th was fantastic. Of course there was loads of food left over so everyone filled up the to-go containers I bought and there was still lots for a couple of my parents friends that live close and are alone. So everyone was able to enjoy the food.

After 60years they each deserve their own cake

Floral arrangements were by my SIL after sending inspo pics. I added the eucalyptus garland with fresh roses (brighter colour so it was easier for mom to see)

@harbie Your parents wedding day photo has them looking like KIDS! Adorable as can be!
Don't get me started on the drool factor of those cakes. Sounds like the entire thing was a success!

I hope the trump / crazy is short lived. I fear it won't be. But I can hope.

And I'm with you... when I find a good deal, I am taking advantage. Hugs
