Ok we have rain all morning.
Supper will be a easy chicken and sheet pan veggies.
I'll look at the flyers at quiet time for super sales.
I want to spend 30 min after work and organize the laundry area.
With spring around the corner, I want the house in tip top shape so I can spend time getting the outside better.

    Morning!

Chicken in the slow cooker (pulled from the freezer last night- Greek inspired- Lemon/garlic/seasoning) The $1lb chicken
Will make red potatoes/rice/sliced cucumbers/Red Lobster biscuits- the box has been kicking around so it is time to use it!

I want to pop out today to Foodland and grab more cans of tomatoes for .99. Great to have on hand to make a cheap meal.
DS loves Chicken Parm...I should make it for him next week since we have all the ingredients on hand and they were all on sale/cheap! Will pick up more cheese for it today for $2.95!

Need to wake up and get motivated! Coffee is tasting good at least. With this little taste of mild weather it makes me excited to start planning Spring/Summer outings/roadtrips etc.

    Have a wonderful day!

Work project done for another year! Woohoo! (it is an annual thing!) Just have to send out and will do so tomorrow!

I cleaned the entrance closet. The mat is in the tub drying. Washed the walls. I am going to give it a bit of paint tomorrow. Then put everything back and should hopefully be able to toss at least 5 pairs of shoes! Will go through the stuff when ready to put back in closet. I do have a coat I could part with. I never wear it so why keep it.

I know that I have done so at RCSS. I purchased something only to find it on sale next week. I was given a cash adjustment. That was years ago, so I do not know if they still entertain the practice. Also, just because RCSS and NoFrills operate under the Loblaws ownership banner does not necessarily mean that they will follow the same policies. Many are similar, but there are differences.

    Good Evening Everyone,
Another in office day but this one did not go as planned. I was supposed to let my trainee go live but we some "issues" that sadly will not be resolved quickly so we are in a holding pattern. Will reach out to my boss tomorrow to see what he wants me to do, my initial thought is stay and fix things but with 6 trainees and realizing last night we have another 6 open positions that will need training, I don't really have room in my schedule for bumps in the road.

Only stop I made on the way home was to grab a prescription for mom, no $$$ spent.

I am kind of on edge about the weather, in my area we are supposed to flash freeze overnight and around 4 or 5 am it is supposed to start snowing. I really should be back in tomorrow to try to work through some of the "issues" but at this point unless the weather changes I don't think I will make it in. Even if we do not get the snow, the flash freeze might keep me at home. If we get the snow we are also supposed to have high winds and there is no way for me to get to work without having to drive through wide opens areas that are known for blowing snow, UGH, I am done with winter.

I took a look at the flyers there are a few things on my list but thinking we can keep it on the smaller side. It will mainly be fresh stuff and maybe a couple stock up items but we will see.

    Happy Wednesday Everyone.

@harbie I love that for the cakes and am going tell my DH I want this if make 60 years because we don’t like the same kind of cake.
I was up at 3:30 am to drive my SIL to the airport and it was raining and so dark. I was very happy to get home @ 6 am to crawl into bed and now I can’t sleep. Ugh

Morning! Another day of no bus service and road closures! Lots of accidents/cars in the ditch.
Happy I don't have to go anywhere.
After my coffee I will bundle up and shovel the walkway just to get some fresh air and move my body.

Pulled a package of lean ground beef from the freezer this morning. Putting together a pasta sauce and letting it simmer sounds like a good idea for tonight's dinner! Noticed chicken drumsticks in the freezer that should be used ASAP so will pull them tonight and then cook them tomorrow. DS will polish them off.
Will give the fridge a good clean out today and then can figure out what we should use up.

Laundry will get put away and will continue tidying up stuff. I have a box started for donation so will continue filling it and drop off this weekend. I have been really good at adding clothing to it that I am ok with getting rid of. Great condition but just trying to reduce my stuff.

    Stay safe!

    Good Morning everyone,
Did not make it into work today, I woke up at 6 am, there was nothing, in the 15 minutes it took me to get ready snow was starting to fall. I got 10-15 minutes down the road and drove into White Outs so I turned around and came home. When I got out of car back home it was ice pellets coming down so I am working from home today.

I probably could have made it in if I took it slow but with temps dropping and them calling for blowing snow getting home might be more tricky so better to be at home. I had them scan me all of my paperwork.

The good news is it looks like the snow for tomorrow and reduced the amount we are to get today so hoping it won't be too bad. I am officially done with winter LOL.

Normally on a workday I would never make a big breakfast I tend to keep it simple but I am seriously craving waffles so, I am making myself some waffles.

I wrote my list last night, it is not a long list but will see how the weather is tomorrow. I do need grab a few things like mushrooms and would like some fresh fruits for next week.

Need to decide on Dinner for tonight, I was thinking maybe Curry Yogurt Chicken but also dumplings sound good so I am torn.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

@sassy - Good Call. I use to hate back in the day when I would commute and make it to work and then have to worry all day what the drive home would be like.
    So not worth it!

I just looked over the sale flyers and my list is small. A few stock up items. And then the fresh stuff on sale.

@coupongirl it’s been ages since check out 51 has had anything appealing. I cashed out in October and am still at 0. For me all the rebate apps have been really disappointing this year.
I went to Costco today and I almost always keep my receipts on me and figures this is the time I don’t. Something I bought last week is 4.00 off this week. The line was too long to ask if they would price match from the app but since I am close to several Costco locations I may still pop in to get my money. I was in for Vector which is the only cereal DH eats and so we made it an exception in our buying, we have very few made in the US products that we will be buying for the foreseeable future and this is one of them. It’s on sale this month.

@lilo0003 , they will price match from the App if you can bring up the receipt, I have done it a few times. They just need to be able to scan the barcode at the top of the receipt.
