Ok. I tried to turn the pictures but I’m too frustrated with it on the iPad so you’ll just have to turn your heads .

Btw, is SC extra slow for anyone else or is it just me???

^^^ OMG @harbie I am so impressed ( o.k. tbh....I'm jealous! ) Don't know who or what I love more, was it DAVE? or those vibrant cherry blossoms?

Happy Saturday! It has been a lazy day! Feels like a Sunday! Happy it is only Saturday!

Yesterday took a drive to Wasaga Beach to see how the demolition is going. The DART? (can't remember if that was the bar name?) is still up but blocked off by fencing as I think it is next to be torn down? Tons of people out walking the beach.
Tomorrow is suppose to be a nice day so will be more active for sure!

Picked up groceries this morning but did not attempt Walmart. Nothing needed there anyway but I am sure it was a zoo.
Took out BLSL chicken for dinner (will have with fresh broccoli and a starch of some sort) Will pull a few bread sticks from the freezer and air fry for those that would like them.
DS liked the Chapman's popsicles I bought 2 months ago. On sale at No Frills this week so I bought him 3 boxes! He can get his fill...then once they are gone they are gone. I also bought 4 x Chapman's Ice cream last week so we are ready for summer!

Foodland- I am stocking our cupboard up with the .99C canned veggies on sale this week. (mostly green beans)
Will appreciate it in the winter when prices are crazy. And less shopping I have to do then!

Ok I better wake up and make dinner before we eat junk instead!

    Have a great evening!

    Harbie -love the pictures .

Well had our lovely turkey supper today -i gave son a tub full of turkey ,potatoes and stuffing ,my daughter went home with 2 legs and potatoes.

The grandkids had so much fun finding the eggs around the house and their gifts from us,clothing ,toy and a bunny .

My hubbys brother gave me a Bingo game with the rolling cage ,cards and numbers .The grandkids played one line for a loonie and a full card gets 5.00,then another game later for one line for a toonie .Ashlyn won 7.00 Sebastian won a loonie.I was the caller ,it is so fun a basic old game .My dear mom loved Bingo.lol

    Everyone was gone by 6.30 p.m .

@harbie in any direction the photos are lovely.
I am a little concerned that I may have signed up for crazy with this election. Fortunately I am familiar with the paper process as I was at a paper poll for the provincial election. Wait times are unpredictable here, some report no wait and others up to an hour. But it’s great to see getting out and voting. DH and I voted last week when we went for our training so we had no wait.
if anyone uses Air Miles they have a flash offer (you need to opt in) that you get 50 AM if you redeem 195 this weekend. I have been redeeming for Walmart and then buying some stuff there to reduce grocery cost.

yep @lilo0003 Great redeem promo, Saturday I did my 190 AM redeem online to get $20.00 in Walmart e-vouchers, then went straight over to WM and spent it, plus the $50.00 GC I got through avion points. The cashier gave me a tip that I could slip my WM Mastercard in as payment, ( to earn the points on the $76.57 total ) then slide the GC in and scan the e-voucher leaving just the $6.57 as the final OOP. Of course she gave me this tip AFTER I had already redeemed both first. ha ha
    Next time I'll know.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Yep, finding this site slow, yesterday it seemed like it was getting better but this morning it took forever to open.

Did not get much done yesterday, my body decided it needed it a break and I listened.

I did get the fruit sorted and emptied all the grocery bags I have been slowly working through. It is weird I did not buy a ton this week but it was a slow process this time.

Last night we had French Onion Pasta Bake, tonight is supposed to be Prime Rib but it is still frozen solid so I may have to come up with plan B and cook the Prime Rib tomorrow.

I did spend some time on Pinterest trying to find new dinner options and snacks. I am really enjoying having things prep and ready to go, having breakfast options the last few weeks has made Breakfast so much easier.

Need to get some produce prep done today. I also have some stuff we need to use up so will look to see what I can make.

Happy Sunday & Happy Easter Everyone.

anyone else in the line until they marked their ballot, then walked it back and place in the voting box.
Plus the worker doing that final stage where they hand you the ballot was eerily similar to the sloth character from Zootopia ha ha

For those of us in line we were wondering what would happen on election night? Hope they'll have more than 1 screen booth set up to work with or faster
    volunteers. Just seemed so inefficient.
Omg. Ours was so slow as well. Noone in line ..noone I'm happy we got it done early cannot imagine how bad it will be on actual election day

Good morning. Voted. Did it nice and early.
I need to do some. Food prep and menu planning.
Also need to figure out if anyone is here for supper.

Might head outside and work a bit on the yard. Get a small fire going... burn up some of the excess stuff we have back there.

    My deal o the weekend...
Independent has the large... 48? 60 roll toilet paper pkgs... similar to the costxo size... 13.99. And air miles has 4 airmiles on their receipts.
Not sure if Loblaws has the same deal. Usually when Independent has it, Loblaws does as well.

For all of us working the election next week-I think it will be a very long and tiring day-good grief. Went to the training yesterday which was a bit of a sleeper!
Hubs turns 72 tomorrow-hard to believe.

@lizzie bargain A very HAPPY 72nd Birthday to your DH on Monday!!

I must confess when DH and I were married I never even imagined him at 72, yet he reached it.
That being said I still see him as my groom as I am certain you see yours!

This morning I forced myself to get busy. Wanted to make some kind of a hearty stew but ended up making a sausage/potato casserole.
Reason was I went with what was in the freezer and used up some fast spoiling yellow onions as well.
Baked up DS some sweet potatoes, used some of the soft insides to mix with diced shrimp and crab leg meat. ( took so long to pick out
all the meat from the skinny crab legs ends. ) I mixed in bread crumbs, dry mustard, herbs, garlic and cream cheese.
Grated old cheddar went into the bottom of 10 mushroom caps, stuffed plenty of the crab mixture on top, then added more cheese.

I won't bake those up until we are ready for dinner.

Good morning. Back to work today. Even though I could seriously get used to a 3 day weekend. Weather is going to be interesting. So .. the day is fluid.
I'm hoping to be done a bit early, and spend time working on my bedroom a bit, it seriously needs attention.
    Hugs to all
