Good morning.
Thanks for that recipe @walkonby I’m got to try them but use plant based buttermilk. They look delicious.
It's been a busy week at home but this week is going to be a super busy week at home and work. Long work week plus BC Cancer appointment with my dad and then back to work that day. I’ve meal prepped so we have a few choices for dinners so that helps.
We had my brother and his wife and their pup over to watch the Lions play on Saturday so I went shopping on Friday and grabbed some things for a charcuterie board for them and for us. I also did a mini stock up for us and spent $154 but got 18,500 points back and also $2 on CO51 and some Airmiles for the kale ( I still haven’t scanned that one
).
A day of errands today but first the gym.

Brrr! What a wet rainy day!
Had a shower and popped out to meet my friend for lunch. Good chat. Came home and parked back in the garage...I am in for the rest of the day- No shopping for me in this weather!
Just popped a load of laundry in the washer and will hang it to dry once it is done. Kitchen is clean. Have the chicken defrosting. Will make a nice dinner with it around 5/6ish.
Was able to book a spa night for tomorrow night so looking forward to that- especially the massage! Had the worst kink in my neck/shoulder yesterday evening. Used the DR. Ho thingy my sister gave me years ago- it really did help! Giving it another try this afternoon.
Feels like a cozy night for a movie!

Busy day done (thank goodness). Dh got his haircut, loads of laundry, the car went to the mechanic for a headlight bulb replacement (no charge
), flu shots, then off to the gym for a 3.5k run. I took it easy after my shot but still got it done.
Headed off to bed super early since there’s not much else to do.

Good Evening Everyone,
I was in the office yesterday so I decided to run some errands on the way home.
In the morning when I was scrolling online I saw a dress I fell in love with, it was a Joe Fresh Dress and it showed both local locations had it stock so I went to try it on. To say it unflattering would be an understatement, I was so sad it was the perfect shade of a red-burgundy but it did nothing for me.
Well I was at Superstore I grabbed more bagels, since I did not meal prep this week I am relying on these for Breakfast this week. Two more bottles of Oregano Pills as they are on sale this week and the best before date is 2027. Also they had their version of soup cubes on sale and they offer a 1/2 cup version which Kitchen Stuff Plus does not so grabbed that as well. Everything I grabbed was on sale.
I have been waiting for a bath mat to go on sale at Kitchen Stuff Plus, it wasn't on sale but was marked as clearance. At first I was going to wait because it is on clearance but not marked down, but I decided to run in and happy did they only had 2 left in the one colours I wanted and 1 in the other colour so I grabbed 1 of each. I don't know I could be wrong but I don't think $14.99 is a bad price for bath mats. Not sure, I don't think I have ever bought bath mats,.
Oh my gosh this getting dark at 5:30 is already getting to me, last night it felt like I was getting home so late. Dinner ended up being Chicken Alfredo Pasta.
Tonight I was supposed to go to Costco after work but a local location that I wasn't working in had an issue so instead I went there, it is kind of taken care of. I am waiting to hear back as I am getting an error I should not be getting so we will see what they have to say.
I offered to take Mom out, as she said I need to get out of the house soon or I am going to lose my mind, so I offered to take her out tonight but she declined.
Making Potato Soup for dinner tonight, wanted something warm and comforting, I am feeling cold tonight.
I gave in and turned on the heat in our basement, I am sure the main floor won't be far behind. The floors were freezing when I came down this morning so it was time.
Happy Tuesday everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@SassyAshley I think that’s a really good price, especially nowadays.
I agree this dark early is rough. After work Dh and I went to Costco and save on foods and by the time we were on our way home at 5:15 it was dark and I’m not used to being out when it’s dark unless it's for a walk in the neighbourhood.
My work week changed again and now I’m working Saturday to make up for tomorrow’s appointment with my dad. Tonight after a Costco staple top up shop I made chili for dinner. We just came back from a walk after dinner and now it’s time for the B E D.

Good morning. I’ve been up since 4:30am and yet I don’t have to leave until 8am
. Joy oh joy.
It was rainy last night and windy and still going this morning but hopefully it will settle down so that our drive is nice.
Just sipping my tea while perusing the upcoming flyers just to see if there’s any stock up deals to be had.
Have a great Wednesday everyone and here’s to getting through the rest of the week

@barbis9 , no I hate Canadian Tire almost as much as I hate SDM, so I never bothered linking the cards up. I don't shop at either, o.k. rarely.
To me their regular prices are so darn high. I know so many members love both stores, there just not for me.

I love getting my little wicker basket of clean laundry back from the room steward. And all the other items hung up. This is the life. Still in China for one last stop tomorrow. Then onto Hong Kong and further south. 3 more weeks left of floating the high seas.

Our tour guide told us yesterday that in order to be an eligible bachelor in Shanghai you need the five C's.
Cash, condo, car, cute and able to cook!

Good morning. Again up at 4:30 this morning. I didn’t really get to look at the flyers so I’ll check them out this morning before work.
Yesterday was a long day. If you ever need a reality check at just how fortunate you are just walk into a cancer agency. The sheer number of people was sad and to see that cancer doesn’t care of your gender, race, religion, economic status. It is truly heartbreaking. I realized just how fortunate I was with my diagnosis. I was completely exhausted yesterday and still feel it a bit today but alas life goes on and work calls.
Hope everyone has a great day and remember to hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. Life is so fragile.
