Good Morning! We have sunshine and blue sky!

I am not feeling very worky today so going to try and power through this morning.

Picked up DS's Christmas present at Home Depot yesterday and have it hidden in the garage. We bought a really nice work bench with locking drawers for youngest DS. He has been collecting tools for working on his car (his hobby) so would be nice if he can have a spot to keep them all organized and locked up safe! We looked at them one day in the summer when we were out getting parts for something and he was interested in it so thought it was a good gift idea.
The girl that took the order wrapped it in cute Christmas wrapping paper!

Dinner last night- I was the only one home so I ate the leftovers (chicken) from the night before with some chopped salad and I made mushroom rice to go with it- It wasn't fantastic but at least I ate it. Tonight's dinner- No plan- I may go visit my family for the night since it doesn't look like any snow till Thursday....so it may be a fend for yourself kind of night.

Alright- Coffee was good! Now to get some work done and then shower and get dressed for the day. I need to get some steps in today!! There wasn't much movement yesterday!

Good Morning Everyone,
Another groggy morning, who knew, actually getting sleep could make you feel like this, but I know it is my body wanting more, which kind of happened this morning. I woke up at 4, planned to get up at 5, but apparently fell back asleep and then woke up with a headache.

But we are up and knocking out all of the work things.

Last night we ended up having Meatloaf with Mac & Cheese for dinner, Mom got up and said let's have Meatloaf with Mac & Cheese, so we went with it. Pulled the meatloaf from the freezer and made savoury butternut squash to go with it.

We have some leftover Mac & Cheese we can eat this week, plus 1 - 2 Cup Soup Cube and a ton of extra noodles so think a second batch of Cheese Sauce is needed and will be portioned out for the freezer.

I want to focus on stocking up the freezer with homemade options, we don't have premade options but almost everything is ingredients and sometimes you just need that grab and cook options.

Tonight's dinner is a mystery.

I think I have to go pick up an order for Mom, she placed an online order for store pick up yesterday which is fine but they split it in half and sent part of the order to a store that is about 1.5 hours away, the order was worth under $10, it took Mom over an hour to get it cancelled. Just waiting to hear if the one at our local store is ready.

Was scrolling last night and found a renewal for Mom's Microsoft on sale for $69.99 (regular renewal is $115.99). That was the only Cyber Monday shopping I did. I think I got enough at Black Friday, although I didn't buy a lot just pricer items.

We did get some snow overnight, doesn't look like a lot but they are coming to plow today so I have to move the cars but since I kept them clean shouldn't be an issue. Still need to build the electric shovel but for the amount we got it is not needed yet.

Time to focus and hopefully complete these year-end reports for work so I can stop thinking about them.

Just got my top from old navy yesterday ,why why are they making long sleeve tops shorter than years ago ,so annoying.I wont return it as i paid 9.89 so i will sleep in it if i dont like the length.Women over 50 want length!!!

Gonna try to wrap again today .Pick out a small gift (from my tote)for our hairdresser plus some cash in a xmas card.As we go next week.

@coupon girl , buying shirts has become such a pain. In the summer I gave up and just bought dresses but that really isn't an option in winter, I am not a winter dress girly because I am always cold.

Why can we not have both option, some shorter for those who want that and some longer for those of us that want things covered. Why does it have to be one or the other.

Good Morning!

Just a chilly morning. We didn't get any snow the past 24 hours which is good.

Didn't end up going to visit family yesterday- Got busy with work and then just went to the bank at the end of the day and Giant Tiger (spend $0- they didn't have any cucumbers ) Chatted on the phone for over an hour with a friend while I did my errands. They called and seemed to want to talk so I let them!

Meat sauce in the slow cooker now for the guys. Will make pasta this afternoon. I am going to make veggies and a protein for me.
I am feeling good these days so want to continue eating cleaner.

Christmas Eve Family/Friends Gathering Potluck- Received the invitation and signed up right away to bring green beans! Will bring other things too but wanted to confirm that before someone else did! Now to figure out what else to bring that is no fail and easy to travel with!

Today- Need to get some work stuff done- Procrastinating on a few things! Hate the phone but do have a few phone calls to make- Did one yesterday at the end of the day- I am thankful for that today

I have never been a fan of shopping for clothing online for me. For the men- yes that is easy!

One thing I do shop for online since 2020 is shoes and am always happy! One time they sent a wrong pair (it was suppose to be shoes for me!) and they sent Men's shoes that just happened to be my oldest son's size! I got to keep them and they sent the shoes that I ordered so that was a win!

Good Morning Everyone,
UGH, my sleep, is enough to drive a person insane. I slept through the night for 2 nights but last night up again for an hour. But, I just looked it
up there is a full moon tomorrow night. Mornings this week have been rough.

I am not sure why but all of a sudden I am feeling super anxious and don't know why. Feel like I am spinning.

I got my big work project done last night sort of. The first part is done and sent out and now I wait for it to be send back so the next part can be done.

Took a quick look at the flyers at 2 am, if I remember correctly there are a few good deals I want to pick up but will write a list today.

Didn't get much done around the house yesterday as I was so focused on getting this work project done.

Ended up making Butter Chicken last night for dinner because it was all I could think of. Tonight, I am not sure.

Think I am going to try walking away from my computer and see if that helps, maybe shifting my focus will help. Days like this having a desk job where I sit at my computer all day can be hard because I feel like it sitting here trying to focus can make me spin more. I just wish I knew what was making me feel like this.

Eve will have an appointement with veterinary the same one Stella had at 3:00 PM this afternoon for another problem.

She never have been to a veterinary since we had her in 2014....I am nervous.... I hope she will react ok.

Yes! A very Happy Wednesday indeed @SassyAshley . Wrt making dinner??!! UGH, I'm not a person who spins BUT trying to think of some NEW, EXCITING and DELICIOUS main dishes does get me in a mood. As a result I often go down rabbit holes searching recipes spending precious time NOT being productive. I figure many others do the same and end up making whatever is easiest for dinner.
IT'S A TRAP!!

@Frugalbigmama that great feeling we get when we eat cleaner is what SHOULD keep us eating clean. Making a trip to the Bulk Barn yesterday with DH was UNWISE!! They did not have the coarse cornmeal I needed but DH picked up small bags of his favourite old fashioned candies. So once at home I was reaching for the Spearmint jelly leaves and the soft black licorice. A double UGH!

I have my lists all written up. No choice about shopping tomorrow ( not for our hosting here on the 25th ) but for our extended family Christmas Pot Luck on Saturday. I'll be cooking on Friday, lots of pork ribs, chicken wings and a Lazy Cabbage Casserole. Big appetites and many confirmed RSVP's makes that necessary. Can't have people
at the end of the line seeing empty pans....ha ha
