@lilo0003, I was reading an article this morning that was talking about Coffee, Beef and Chicken but it focused mainly on Coffee. That is exactly what they said is yes, Coffee has seen insane increases and although it is leveling off no one is going to lower the price because they know people will pay it. So the best we can hope for is to see few increases this year but they also say don't expect no increases.

Only Mom drinks coffee and it is very rare, I think I bought a Costco can over 2 years ago and we are still working through it. We broke it down and froze it in smaller portions so we just pull one out as needed.

    Morning! TGIF!

Getting the work things done! Feels good to cross stuff off my list.
Want to give my office a good clean at the end of the day today.

Looks nice and calm outside so will get out after work for a bit.

Nothing exciting happening in my world.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Oh what a couple of crazy days, I swear Wednesday afternoon everyone realized how close inventory is and my email blew up.

My boss asked me to swing by, I was going to go Wednesday afternoon so I could pick up Mom's package but then Dad emailed me asking me to drop my car off Thursday AM and at a different location than normal so I moved my meeting.

Went down yesterday we got a little snow overnight no biggie. After my meeting Dad wasn't there but bro was on the email so I asked if he knew the car I was taking, he did not but turns out he brought the wrong car to work. They have the loaner and he was supposed to bring that work but brought his car, so a co-worker drove me to their place so I could pick up the car.

I go Mom's package and I am not the biggest fan of this car in snowy conditions so I decided to just come home vs grocery shopping my way home. I got off the highway and was in white outs on and off the whole way home. But I did have to stop at pharmacy to grab Mom's prescription.

Worse comes to worse until my car comes back, I will drive Mom's.

I was supposed to run out for groceries today but honestly, I didn't feel like it so I stayed home.

The last couple of days I have been covering a co-worker as they have been expectantly off. Their manager called me today they need to take an immediate leave of absence. Talked to the manager, came up with a plan, I will help remotely so I don't get pulled in further as I just can't right now and keep up with my own job. Then I called my boss.

I think it is time to shut down mentally, tomorrow is another day.

    Happy Friday Everyone.

Just another way to boost those points.Plus if i spend 50.00 before dec 31/25 at canadian tire i get 5.00 bonus triangle points.

@coupon girl I finally linked my RBC to Triangle too. I earn Triangle points when I buy gas at Petro Can, plus earning the Petro points too.
Cdn Tire is not a store I go to regularly BUT now if I do, I'll earn those 3x the points. They all add up.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
It has been a very blah day around here but I slept almost 10 hours last night which was so needed.

I was feeling weird yesterday but couldn't figure out what was going on so I chalked it up to being in a funk. I think I was just tired.

I have no ambition today and I am going with it. There are a million things I should or could be doing but I am just going to take the day off.

I did edit some videos and did some voiceovers. I realize it is another thing to do but I am trying to commit because it is something for me, it isn't for work, it isn't for the house, it is for me.

Spent most of my day on Pinterest, apparently Pinterest really wants me to make bread and I kind of agree, I found lots of yummy things I want to try.

Still need to figure out dinner for tonight, I should probably write a meal plan and maybe a prep list.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

I’m so sorry @cath007 that you’re going through this . Like @walkonby said , I don’t think you will get a mean comment from any of us. We all understand the pain of being in a situation like that and it’s not easy. Maybe if you speak with the vet they can offer some guidance in any rescues or charities that can help you with the bills. Most vets are very willing to help furparents help their furbabies. Btw what a sweetheart she is
@flemeth it’s like I was reading our own story about diabetes with Harley (except he didn’t go blind). Our world as we knew it changed but we just got used to a new normal.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Another blah day here, my body needs a break. I think this year I am really going to feel our shut down going from 2 weeks to 1 week. Last year wasn't bad but this year I could use those 2 weeks. I do have vacation days but with the current circumstances at work, me taking time off isn't an option, plus it is year end.

I forced myself to clean the bathroom so I could say I got something done today.

I should clean out the fridge, although I don't think there is anything that needs to go and take the garbage out.

Which also means shovelling. I woke up to them plowing this morning. I do not think we got a lot but trying to stay on top of it. We are supposed to get more snow this afternoon. Tomorrow is supposed to be clear but overcast and cold. Winter is here LOL.

Started a new crochet project, feeling that itch to work on something. I am making a Santa Gnome.

    Happy Sunday Everyone.

    Good Afternoon!
It has been snowing heavy non-stop since I woke up this morning. So that meant not going to visit family...so I did running around this morning and then once home I cleaned out the fridge and put the groceries away. Making a lasagna for dinner so cooked up the beef and onions for that to make it easier when I put it together later this afternoon.

No Frills- I noticed I have a spend $75 get points (11,250)...so I plan to make sure to scan my card and meet that goal. I also have one for cheese (spend $30 get 4,500 pts) (I didn't scan it the other day grrr!)
I have banking to do for work tomorrow so will pop in there on way home for the remaining spend...probably on cheese and pepperettes!

Now to finish up in the kitchen and then I think a lazy Sunday afternoon movie is in order!

Up late, no special reason...just too many cat naps spoiling the actual bedtime.
Did very little on Sunday, we also had snowfall again. A short trip to Highland farms
was kind of a bust. Thought for sure they would have jicama but nope.
Picked up the coarse grind cornmeal I needed at least ( to make some ramekins of Polenta )
for Christmas. My sisters and I love that stuff!
Also some cocktail sized Pastizzi to have on Christmas Eve.
