Good Saturday morning everyone.
My not so frugal but kinda frugal shop was on Wednesday at SDM. My mom wanted me to take her to SDM for some NO.7 face cleanser, moisturizer and such and I also needed a refill of my creams so off we went. Between her and I we spent $465(AT) and I ended up earning 124,800 in points for the 20X wub$50. Most of it was mine but yet she purchased more actual items
. Anyways to thank me for taking her after a long work day in traffic she insisted I take the points or else she was going to pay for something (then I told her how much just 1 of my 2 items cost so she said take the points
). Seriously, she told me to collect the points regardless. So while it was an expensive and not very frugal day it kinda turned frugal with earning those points for a later grocery shop.
Today is laundry day and I’m making lasagnas for both Dh and I but also my parents. I like to get them nicely stocked in the freezer for easy meals and I know they’re healthy and nutritious which is what they both need.
Have a great Saturday everyone

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I took it as a sign the car not starting as this weekend I needed to up my game at home and try to get some things done.
Not going to lie I did procrastinate for awhile because the task I chose for today was to defrost and organize the Stand Up Freezer. Now that I use the Hot Water Method, it no longer takes hours to defrost, so not it is just removing everything and putting it back in. Which is better now that most of it is in bins but the door still gets to me.
In the past I would wait until I needed to a restock since it wouldn't be as full but with the current price of groceries, when I see a sale I stock up because who knows when the next one will come. Good news there was zero food waste just needed to be reorganized. There are a few things I want to use up, I still have A LOT of cranberries and we have a lot of Homemade Pumpkin Puree and Apple Cider so looks like some baking is in my future.
I do still need to do the Chest Freezer and Kitchen Freezer but those are for another day.
Well I was doing the freezer, I ran the dishwasher, so I need to empty that but will do that well I cook dinner.
I heated up the leftover potato soup for Lunch and well I was doing that I cooked a batch of rice because I am going to make Dumplings and Homemade Chicken Fried Rice for Dinner.
After dinner I think I will put on a movie and work on some of the forms I need to build for work, I have been successful in not working weekends but this week has been a week and unless I want next week to be the same. We will see how I feel after dinner.
Tomorrow will more than likely be a prep, I do not know what this week will hold but if I can be ahead of it with meals that will help.
Also this week I will need to go to Costco (that list is getting so long and it feels like half the meals I go to make I am missing something from Costco list because we aren't low, we are out) and I need to do a local grocery shop, plus there is a bunch of stuff we need from random stores.

Good Morning Everyone,
Slow start to the morning but it is my own fault, I fell back asleep and slept in which for most people leaves them feeling ready to go but not me, I wake up with no ambition.
The plan for today was to prep but I really only planned the baking and now that I am trying to plan the actual food (the stuff we need), everything I try to make I am missing something to make it because my grocery lists are so long. My Costco list at this point honestly, scares me, I know I will be happy to get it done when I go but right now it just scares me. Also, I am forming quite the list of things I just need to buy locally that never go on sale.
As well my schedule for the week is up in the air which isn't helping because now I feel like things are going to pile up again and I just need a week to get caught up, I need a semi calm week.
I did not log into work last night instead I finished crocheting a new Dishcloth as ours is falling apart and then started crocheting ear warmers for myself.
Kind of wishing today was warmers and then I would just go and do all my running around to get it done but it is still so cold out so I don't want to haul it all in.
I need to try to get my brain to focus.

@harbie wow that's alot of points! I also wait for these events to splurge on my fav skincare. I've started finding cheaper alternatives as my fav Clinique keeps going up in price.

Yesterday one of my cats knocked over my royal Dolton figurine that I bought in 2007. It has shattered along with the mini one that I had, beyond repair. Good thing I love animals as I was so mad at him.

My new foster family is doing really well, but the momma cat hasn't been eating (used to garbage cat food) and I have the good quality food. The babies are adorable and if I could post on this forum I would. I have an ancient Acer and the photos are on my iphone, but I will try at some point.
Found a pair of gloves and jacket that I turned into lost and found at the grocery store. I hope the person comes by to collect it. Feels good to turn stuff in as I would be upset losing something and nobody turning it in.
Happy Sunday everyone.
