Finished work Saturday night and decided to head up to Walmart to use my few remaining March 31st Expiries. I picked up a few items and decided to do my usual walk through the health and beauty clearance section. All I can say is....JACKPOT!!!!!!!
Here is what I got:
3 boxes of Apple Jacks Cereal-$2.97-$2.00= $0.97 each
1 box of Old El Paso-$3.49
1 pack of Ground Beef-$4.70-$4.00= $0.70
3 jars of Smuckers Seedless Jam-$2.29-$1.00= $1.29 each
7 boxes of Tampax Pearl Multipack Tampons (36/box)- $7.00!!!!!!!

WTG on the Tampax.
When I was working in an office tower, the washrooms had tampax machines where it was 10 cents per tampon. I used to go after work when no one was around and get 10 at a time with 10 cents before going home. It was the cheapest I could find without paying tax. The good old days, my first attempt at a stockpile, lol.

Great shopping OP. Especially the jam - around a "dolla" is a good price for jam. They're asking 4 bucks in some stores. Sheesh.
Nice memory of when prices were not as bad, back in the day.
