SC even uses Adsense / Adchoices. It's where tracking cookies are used to track user information, then they use that info for 3rd party ad generation. Some users do view this as a threat to privacy. I've yet to see an appropriate warning on the SC site in a privacy policy page. I'm aware of this use, but I doubt all SC users are.

That's what happened to me too! I took whatever wasn't out of stock though. If I don't have a use for it I always know someone else in my family will.

Yes he does. ADsense was replaced by ADchoices. You can clearly see ADchoices in the ads displayed on SC. They are one in the same.

Click on one of the ADChoices links on an ad on SC (it may say ADchoices or just be a blue triangle). You will clearly be brought to an ADsense Help page explaining privacy, and information about ADChoices and ADsense.

Google recognizes the number stored in your browser on the DoubleClick cookie, and shows ads related to the interest and inferred demographic categories associated with that cookie. He really needs to let the users know (as it's a privacy issue that requires a disclaimer), or find out more info on this ad choice for SC. I posted this in the SC update thread, but it seemed to be passed over.

I've now posted this again in a Site Related question thread, in hopes that it is addressed.

Most discerning is my private information will be sent and stored in the USA, by American companies not Regulated under Canadian privacy laws.
