Staples.ca next day delivery

Has anyone ordered from Staples.ca before and what was your experience? I ordered something on Friday night after the 6pm deadline for Saturday delivery / store pickup and was wondering when people received emails about their items? It said that it would go in Monday (today) but haven't received any emails.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Did you receive the email indicating that your order has been processed?

I've ordered a few time for home delivery and store delivery. After I did the order, I received an email indicating that the order is being processed as well as the estimated delivery date. For the home deliveries, it was delivered on the date in the email and no additional emails were sent. When I've had delivered to the store, I received a call from the store indicating that it was ready for pickup.

I got this email:

Thank you for ordering with Staples Business Delivery! Your order has been received and is being processed.

Your order is scheduled for delivery on the following dates between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, pending credit approval and inventory confirmation. A contact person must be available to accept the delivery by signing for and confirming the items you have ordered.

Below please find the items you have placed on this order and the corresponding delivery date(s). If there is a problem with your order, you will receive a follow-up contact. Does that mean it went through?

I've ordered from them for home delivery and never had any problems.

What's nice here is that the delivery person calls to check that I'm home, then will be here in 10 minutes.

Yeah even I always buy online from staples. I never experienced such thing. Their delivery is on time and service is too good. I really appreciate them.

I live about an hour from a staples store which is outside of their guarenteed delivery area. I didn't know this until I placed an order with them and spent two days waiting for it.

It took 3 days instead of the 1 day, and they weren't able to even give me an estimate of when it might arrive. I wasn't impressed.

I have since ordered for in-store pick-up, with that I have never gotten a call that it is in or an email that it is in. I've always had to call them to check before I drive in. I think it just says more about my local store than the entire corporation.
