Store receipt surveys ... hmmm ...

Hi everyone .. so you know how at the bottom of receipts (Walmart/Home Depot etc) there's a survey you can enter on line to win stuff like a gift card to the store or .... just by giving your feedback.

Any luck? Has anyone filled them out on line and actually won? I've filled a couple out and nothing so I stopped but when I think about it I probably have missed out on completing hundreds.

I fill them in from time to time - but never won a thing....unfortunately!

I haven't come across many contests on the bottom or back of receipts -- so no wins -- but I actively grab a lot of freebies & deals this way.

everytime we eat at pizza pizza, there's a link to a short customer satisfaction survey at the bottom of the receipt that gives you a coupon code at the end. the codes are redeemable for either a box of potato wedges, 3 cans of coke, an italian sandwich, chili or poutine on your next $9.99 order.

mcdonald's also offers the same on the back. I can't remember the deal exactly but it was something along the lines of buy any sandwich and make it a meal for free; a printable coupon.

I've also found some great ones on the back of mark's work wearhouse receipts... usually $10 off when you spend $40, something along those lines.

thanks for the heads up on the contests, tips, I'll have to keep an eye out for those. I've never noticed anything on walmart or home depot receipts. definitely worth entering -- good luck!

Pizza Pizza never give me my receipt when I get my order, and I usually forget to ask. Drives me nuts!

I've never won anything for the surveys, but I do usually fill out the ones that offer a free item (subway offers a free cookie with your next purchase but it has to be at the same store) or a discount.

I have never won it, and I have done them alot! sometimes Payless has them, and if you do the survey they give you $4 off your next purchase. so i save them for BOGO or boxing day and usually manage to get a great deal!

the only thing I got was a whopper at burger king LOL when you do their survey they give you a code for a free whopper. But no, never won anything...

I always fill out the McDonald's survey. It only takes a few minutes and you can print out a coupon for Buy one sandwich, get free fries and pop. Saves you a couple dollars and I eat at McD's pretty often so it's worth it.

I've never won anything but they sometimes have god freebies. Boston Pizza will give you a free appetizer or something. Bath and Body works gives you $10 off a $30 purchase. Use those when stuff is on clearance for 5 for 10 or whatever and you can get lots for mega cheap

My friend works at Empire theatres, and I guess it's different for every theatre, but she said that apx. 10 people/month actually fill out the survey on the concession receipt. I can't remember what the prize is, but those are pretty good odds!

I always wondered the same thing! I've filled out several surveys and never won anything.

I am a mystery shopper who gets many, many of these during my assignments each month. I used to fill them out all the time and never won anything. Then I found out that it is the company's way of getting feedback without hiring mystery shoppers so, I stopped doing them.
